My oven is not nearly clean enough for that

The taste of oven cleaner and general laziness. Into the microwave they go then flash freeze, some reason they crisp. Mad science hour. Just another clue that the aliens built the pyramids.

i hate the idea of keeping like 5 or so more headphones compared to like the 3 basic ideas that would be needed (an open back, a closed back, an IEM)… i dont like owning super expensive stuff that i only use for SOME occasions because they work better for a certain genre or so when i just want to buy one headphone of one type and enjoy all my music as good as i can… i just want something not shit

portable washing machine the upstairs tenants have malfunctioned and water poured into our bathroom below. we’re fortunate we have a drain…but every towel in the house is used up. water leaking for several different points in the ceiling and it dribbled all over the furnace. got a dehumidifier in with the furnace now to help dry it out asap. I’m worried about rusting…

Chances are if given time to dry out it will be fine… Oil or gas fired? It would not hurt to have it checked by a reputable tech and company.

@discobot fortune

Does this work?

:crystal_ball: Cannot predict now

I really hate when life decides you don’t need a break from shit… You need MORE.
So the weekly schedule is supposed to be released Friday and start Saturday. My manager insisted she didn’t have the time to do more then Saturday and Sunday. Still hasn’t posted anything past that. I only found out by word of mouth when I showed up for a closing shift last night that I would be opening this morning. Insomnia kept me up all night, so I ended up doing the close/open on no sleep, a ham and egg sandwich and a cup of coffee. Immediately after getting off, I got to walk the mile home in the rain and jump into the conference call for my class (half an hour late), only to have my phone die just before getting home, thinking I could take a nap after class… Only to find one of the dogs died.

That’s a hell of a day. Sorry to hear about the dog.

So sorry, man. It’s losing family, really.

I hate when I ask some folks about their judgement regarding some tech. people just throw me a graph and go THERE. I don’t care about graphs, I dont care about nonsense numbers. I certainly dont care about people explaining said numbers to me. I asked for your opinion.
This doesnt just apply to audio. It can literally be anything. I need a new… tablet is this non wacom any good, cause I heard you owned one. Here is a graph of where it places in relative sensitivity and how responsive it is in comparison to other brands.
No I asked for YOUR judgement.
It feels like some folks just too gd scared to give an honest value judgement based on subjective opinion so they pull out some nonsense graph, story plot or whatever so they can just pretend that their opinion is some indomnible fact.
I can get the biggest, most expensive touch screen drawing aid on earth with all the bells and whistles and highest end levels of responsiveness and fidelity, but if it feels like shit to use regardless of the fucking expense why on earth would I buy it?

I’ve had the same mortgage lender for almost 15 years. Until this year, they’ve handled increases in property taxes in the same manner. One-time bill you for the shortage in your escrow, then adjust your monthly mortgage payment for the new increased property tax rate. Simple, right?

Well with no notice whatsoever they implemented a new policy where they adjust your payment for a new increased tax rate PLUS the equivalent of two additional months worth of property taxes “just to cover any unexpected increases.” By law, they have to refund you any surplus in your escrow at the end of the year. It still means you’re basically now required to front them two extra months worth of property taxes until they give it back to you. Somehow “unexpected increases” haven’t been an issue for the past 15 years including through the 2008 recession. You know this nothing more than a “because we can” cash grab for them to invest and make money off of on the backs of their mortgage customers.

On top of that, because I live in an inexpensive condo, my property taxes went up by over 20% when all the single family homes in my immediate area went up by less than half that percentage. Nice middle finger state and county!

Kinda funny but customs cut clean through my new mouse pad cause the Ali express sellers labelled it as "phone case’ who the fuck wouldn’t be suspicious of a tube looking thing going over customs that doesn’t resemble a phone case when it’s labelled as so

Well YouTube didn’t change their mind on the whole community captions thing. It’s now dead and in the process they’ve effectively killed most fan subbing on the platform. Thanks YouTube.

Maybe we’ll see the return of traditional fan subbing where users edit and reupload the video completely. The sub quality was generally better in those cases.

my right ear is infected now… my first assumption was IEMs

my newest assumption is the air pressure changing

Absolutely the same. Even decisions to buy more body wash i think “ok maybe i can go another week before i really run out and need it”. Now im trying to buy a house in covid 5-10% increased pricing. It was anxiety inducing before but just add 50k to everything because why not.

It’s my birthday today and I ordered some presents for myself and most haven’t arrived lol. Thanks FedEx
