Can you use HWiNFO64 for fan control? I’ve only ever used it for the sensor readout.
Sorry, not for control, no (that’s what happens when I try working, reading, and being on the phone simultaneously). Though doesn’t the ASUS BIOS let you set the fan parameters there? Also you could try Speedfan in Windows.
There is at least some fan control in their BIOS, but I don’t think it lets me be as granular as I like. I could give Speedfan a try, but since I had to install Armoury Crate so I could turn off all the ridiculous RGB I just used their software. And I never had an issue with it on my old Haswell system, so I hadn’t expected to have an issue this time either.
I done fucked up. I threw my Tin T2 in the laundry bin at work, they were in the pocket of my scrubs as I ended my shift at 7AM. I didn’t realize my error until I was about to drive back to work today. So I go through the laundry bags, only to realize they’ve gone off to the main hospital for washing.
RIP Tin T2. Oh well, I guess now I have a reason to buy the KZ DQ6 to have at work…
So while, yes, I am looking for work in the IT field… I’m also aware I should still try to get an understanding of the company before going for an interview.
I applied for this one today, and got a call for it maybe an hour later. Awesome, right? Except I stopped trying to apologize for asking her to repeat herself after a while because she sounded distant and was talking too quickly for the words to be enunciated properly. After the call, I was sent an email asking for all the information that was asked for in the application, an updated resume (for the second time), a job description (incredibly vague), and the pay rate ($12/hour and my commute would be going from 1 mile to 31).
I figured I’d do my due diligence and look into the company, only to find… Holly cow… people really don’t like working for them… And from the constantly reoccurring complaints… I can see why. That compounded with a gut feeling to run and don’t look back, I figured I’d turn it down.
Messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn, thanking them for their time, and informing them that I had decided not to proceed. To which they sent “I don’t understand” and started blowing up my phone.
While it means taking longer to find something, I’d rather do that then jump into something I know I’m going to hate myself for.
At the very least you can use this as a way to practice your interview skills.
It also reminds me of a company i looked up where the employee reviews were mostly negative but for their likes they all wrote “at least there were bagels on fridays”
Well to be fair. They probably didn’t understand because you said “invitation” instead of investigation lol
This. I don’t think I’ve ever turned down an interview while I was job hunting.
The last update to my phone wonked the hell out of the wifi and bluetooth. Same happened to mine and my sisters phones, both are oneplus
Wifi connection will drop and reattach a few seconds later. Sometimes it just drops and im on data for a long time without knowing. Bluetooth in my car connects but messages and alerts dont show in the car anymore.
I tried all types of settings and resets. Only thing i havent tried is another network. But its two different oneplus phones on the same update so fuck me i guess.
part 2:
"
Hi, we could refund the different, would you mind keep it?
By the way, please send me the better price picture.
Thanks "
“not only is it cheaper it’s the better model too, but i could keep it if the difference was refunded that seems fair pic of xd05 plus”
"Hi, it is not same products.
Your order is XD-05 BASIC, and the picture is XD-05 PLUS.
Thanks "
thank you Shenzen
Unfortunately, it’s looking like I may have to turn down a second.
At least as of what my manager changed the schedule to this morning, I’m working during that time period. Sadly, she’s taken to changing the schedule on a daily basis, making it damn near impossible to schedule anything.
I’m gonna try calling first thing in the morning to see if I can get scheduled for the day I’m scheduled to be off. If they won’t schedule for a different day, I’ll be forced to pass.
Take a sick day? I understand not wanting to jeopardize your current livelihood but it’s not like you’re trying to impress them with your loyalty, either. You’re trying to move onwards and upwards!
I agree, sick day or tell them you have a Doctor’s appointment or other personal/family business to attend to that you scheduled around your already posted schedule.
Tell them your Uncle Souldriver was having a family emergency and he needed your help. Have them call me and ill vouch.
If the schedule changes are that short notices then saying hey i have a dr appointment i waited months for bc covid, cancelling now would cost me more than a days work etc etc should be excusable. Then when you get it you can laugh at it all later on.
Eh, I got them to reschedule for tomorrow. The only information I can get on the company is they where founded in 2017, and they are a marketing company who deals with Fortune 500/100 companies. That’s it. The reviews on Glassdoor for their interviews don’t exactly inspire much confidence.

Their “Our Team” isn’t like what most companies do where they showcase some of their higher upside, rather then… whatever this is…
In better news, I have a phone interview Thursday morning with Ibex for an On-site Member Support position. Fulltime, full benefits(medical, dental, optical, PTO, 401k with company match), paid training.
Good luck for both. If you can, go over all your material, try to have someone give you a mock interview or at very least take everything you can from the first interview and apply it to the second.
Get some sleep, look and dress sharp, grip it, and rip it.
And always remember to check the mirror before leaving and do not be afraid to go to the restroom when you arrive to double check yourself.
Playstation & Xbox Peripherals!
Before the day’s of (Wireless Controllers) ps & Xbox had different controller input configurations. If you bought a peripheral it would seem legitimate that you would need to buy the peripheral for your spacific console.
Now my problem is this. I own both a current gen Playstation & Xbox. I wanna buy a expensive Logitech driving wheel with pedal box & gear shifter ect. And I don’t understand why both the Xbox version & playstation version connect to the consoles via USB cable yet it’s not compatible from system to system! Bought it for your playstation then wanna use it on your Xbox to play forza? Sorry… Buy the Xbox one! Even though they both use the USB port! Total scam!
You can blame MS and Sony for that one, peripherals have to be approved, and I don’t believe either party will approve a controller that works on the other one. And there is some firmware magic that prevents unlicensed periferals from working.
Though I’m not sure if the issue is the approval process itself or the parties actively prevent it from happening.
To most DAC brands:
WHY just a single line output, why not two, or three?
I don’t wanna desecrate my setup with an ugly switch box
Finally resolved about my issue about the Final Audio E Type eartips I ordered, the seller is cool enough to reply to me and accepted my refund request with no issues. Though I think this would have been avoided if he was able to send the right amount of ear tips I ordered but a minor issue, for I will order an another set once I got the refund.
