MQA ultimately is only useful if you use Tidal a lot.

but its the cheapest lossless streaming service at only 10 bucks with a student discount (qobuz has no discount and is 15, and amazon HD is 12 dollars including the 6 free amazon prime months)

Why are eartips so damn expensive?
ffs… 10-20$ for 2-3 pairs of small foam/silicone bits they make in china.

You also better buy them in all sizes and see what fits.
Imagine buying all the tips included with the FH7 separately, you’re looking at 100$ easy.

Been with them for a year now at 1 gigabit no problems so far surprisingly enough. People used to shit on bell in my area. But since the fibre lines got installed and people have been using it no one has had issues aside from the occasional slow down but if it’s slows down at even 50% it’s still no biggie.its still faster than what I used to run 10megabits

Living in an area that only gets the fake arse shit called FTTC. My internet fucking SUCKS. As they class it as fibre for advertising but it isnt, its simply fibre to the box and then it uses phone lines. Get around 40mpbs. Hopefully with my switch coming on 20th i should get around 50-60 but still it damn sucks. If you don’t live in a major city ur simply fucked because the internet in the UK is legit one of the biggest monopolys in the world. Openreach own all the lines in the uk so the competition simply just buys it off them. So there really isnt any competition. Legit set back the UKs internet structure back 5 years.

As you can see in the pic. Some bloody third world countries are fucking faster than in the uk. But the worst part is you pay more for your slower internet. People with 250mbps in the uk in a large city pay less than people who can only get 60mbps. 1GBPS costs the fucking same as the max package for cable internet its fucking rediculous.

Mega rant as it fucking pisses me off xD

Man, I really hated gaming labelled stuff anymore. Cheaply made, overly bassy headphones in most cases, bad sound quality in just bout every case, a lot of bad positional imaging in quite a lot of them bad keyboards or quick to go faulty mice, mic tends to be absolute garbage and goes by a mentality of “it works so it must be okay who cares about compression and artificating”, yet are more expensive than quite the amount of really good headphones. Topped off with all the “pros use this so buy it!” shit which when I was young I followed that sort of stuff like it was a religion and everytime it bit me square in the ass. After sitting down with the shp9500 with a v-moda it completely threw me over the edge. A headphone you can find now for like $50 - $60 sounds not only a hell of a lot better it has absolutely incredibly good competitive sound and placement plus the v-moda which has some of the best clean vocals of the attachable mics at like $30. So for the same price as that hyperx or astro or whatever damn logitech, seriously if you buy one of these I worry for you keyboards and mice are good their headsets blow, you can get something that completely blows them out of the water, capable of being closed back and open backed due to modification, and can turn into a damn wireless headphone through a 3.5mm bluetooth adapter. Headphones literally completely ruined me top that off with I come to find extreme appreciation in music and their details pulling me into the world of audiophile.

After reading the review on the HyperX Flight I took a stab at it, figured alright why not. Zeos gave it a decent enough review it just looks cheap as hell. Well it is built cheap as hell, pads are stiff pancakes and extremely uncomfortable so his comment of changing the pads is extremely warranted, top that all off? Had it for a week and a half gave it to my little nephew for just practical use cause he plays COD not only was the sound bad, he had a lot of issues with placements and it’s a W signature with a hell of a lot of deep sub bass rumble, but within a week and a half it appears the unit is just straight up going dead and has to be wired to gain full sound volume.

So now, I am over here sitting down with the shp9500 setting it up as a replacement for him with the hopes he learns from this experience to go down the route of headphones for his gaming needs as I learned the harder way with this kind of awful hardware growing up. SHp9500 I never really bothered ot truly sit down with and I have found so much damn appreciation in this headphone myself as a gamer and an audiophile that it has me have high hopes for their next two models to be released.

I kinda still actually like my HyperX revolver S. It was mega expenvice and yes I made the wrong choice but didnt know about all this when i bought it and still it sounds decent enough. And comfy atleast, and decently made. With its metal construction and not so cheap plastic just had a very weird head adjustment band that went on it after 3 years so its served my quite well for a gaming headset but its legit been replaced by my KOSS KSC75’s so that kinda speaks everything xD.

Hyperx are typically a special case and I guess it more revolves around which of their headphones you go with. I stuck by the hyperx cloud original for quite some time. It served me well but after playing with headphones I can definitely say with confidence that the sound placements are just in generally cases not the greatest. I couldn’t ever get behind the revolvers head band lmfao! it was so odd to me as someone with a big head i sat there confused like whats the point of this if my head is so large it just goes to the metal band?

I call lies on the German average.
Take the time into account you have barely enough internet speed to load Google.com in HTML view…

I didn’t make the picture but it sure aint wrong about the UK average xD.

Yeah. My family switched out of Bell about ten years ago because no one ever fucking responded to technical issues regarding their modems constantly breaking or needing to upgrade.

Because there are multiple working professionals in this house, 1.5 Gb will be a boon to the whole family. After that it will be putting in a Triband Wifi 6 Mesh network throughout the house to keep up the speed on wired. Hopefully working around the internal router on the modem will be easy

it takes a bit of effort to do but its doable. for my familie’s purposes the stock modem/router is just fine for us as long as their shit dont buffer they are fine. I’m fine cause I took a bit of effort and just wired my pc to it so I get the full bandwith no issues and Im basically the only one who requires it.

And which are those third world countries (as you called them) in that picture?

im sure there is a few as the person who sent me the pic when i complainging to him on discord sent me it. And hes from one “thrid world” should of use the quote marks and his is actually faster than mine but even he wouldnt count his country as first world. I wasnt saying anything bad about any other countries if thats how u saw it. Mainly just a huge rant at the uk for being one of the first with it to being so far behind by its own idiocy.

My house is old so there is some places direct wiring wont reach so the mesh network is necessary. I also need a 10 g switch to hook into my network So I can access and edit off a NAS.

The problem is for all this tech stuff needed to do post production stuff on my end. I am absolutely fucking terrible at it. And Trying to figure this out is like rewiring my brain in the worst way possible (I can’t wrap my head around internet tech like how to set up switches.

Unmanaged switches (your standard Netgear, TP-Link, Asus, etc.) is plug&play. No different then audio.

Managed switches (Cisco, Arista, EN, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, etc.) are mostly plug&play, but allow you to make networking hell for yourself

Where is Ant?
It’s been 4 days without a single post and no Drop deals.
Balance of the world must have shifted.

Also 4 weeks of paid vacation is about to start and all the time in world is to myself… faaa saik.

The paint from my liquid spark is peeling and its really bothering me.

Anyone else gets this?

nope, mine appears to be fine. Not sure why yours would be peeling. Perhaps the heat of the amp or issue during its development?
