As I recall Alberta doesnāt have a sales tax. So you only pay like 6 or 7% federal tax? Most of us pay 13 to 15% in a harmonized sales tax, so that would be quite a difference.
Iām looking for something a little smaller for another area. Have any of you heard the Geshelli Archel 2.5 Pro? If so, how does its sound compare to the RebelAmp?
I know I said it several days ago, but I still canāt stop listening to this thing. I donāt think youāll be disappointed. Iāve been listening to Sarah Jarosz: Undercurrent this morning and it sounds fantastic.
Easily my preferred, I really dislike thx as imo I prefer the atom to the thx as imo thatās a better sounding amp. I think the rnhp is way better at recreating space, separation, imaging, timbre, and actually is more neutral/true to life than thx. I also think the rnhp has more control over headphones than the thx. The only thing thx has over the rnhp is power imo, and if you wanted power something like the cayin iha6, gilmore lite mk2, liquid plat, and now the rebelamp (I of course canāt endorse it yet since I havenāt heard it personally, but I am excited to hear one when they come back in stock, but so far experiences are promising), etc. I really just donāt like the thx amps if you canāt tell, I just think they fail at doing what they are supposed to, and bested by amps like 1/4 the price for the goal of accurate neutral sound with a measurement focus. I am not opposed to good measuring amps, but thx is a great example of numbers over sound, where the atom and heresy provide those numbers and still maintain good sound quality
