As promised, here is an update as my custom XINHS cable arrived. Looks very nice, the chin slider works. The cable itself is nicely braided and very soft, does not retain a shape. The angled MMCX comnectors are a little plasticy though. Still, recommended.

Looking for a comfortable thin cable for my IEMs I stumbled over the Linum G2 BaX. Ideal for my needs as I’m wearing glasses. So thin you don’t feel them with good sound. You can even get them balanced
Tough luck, it seems I cannot find a seller of Xinhs cable here in my place. I hope there are some alternatives that are at least close to Xinhs’ cables. I can only think of Yinyoo and Nicechk at the moment.

Nah not from AliExpress, from Shopee aka our AliExpress here, since I get all my audio stuff from there for most of the time like my E Type eartips, SpinFits, Yinyoo cables, BLON BL-03, BLON BL-05S, and my Koss KPH30i.
It’s kind of odd not seeing those Xinhs cable from that one, since there are some sellers in Ali are also in Shopee. Maybe I am not looking hard enough.

People get this wrong a lot, because they are holding the box/case/screenshots/monitor upside down. It’s actually SHNIX, named after the Chinese god of pygmy tigers, Shnixi, son of Poxellis. Source = common knowledge, school field trips, & advanced folk medicines.

Speaking about xinhs, I received the 2 balanced cables I ordered. Simple black ones, plasticky all around, but with angled 2.5mm connectors.
I won’t measure them (or maybe I could…), But for 10€, having a balanced cable is obviously huge value. I installed it on my bl-03 and my kbear ks1. I must admit I didn’t notice any change in sound.
