Recommended IEM Cables

Yup, it is that gold/copper wire then. :+1:

When I buy another cable from him, I will probably get that gold/copper cable. It looks so damn good.
probably not 8 core though, too thick and too pricey.

Gold and copper? Have a link? I have been thinking about that for some time. Also gold and graphene, but that might not work.

Now i only want something dark copper like dunu hulk procl to match my teas. Or ikko ct01

That golden colored cable is a gold plated copper cable.

I love this photo! What are you talking about dude??? Awesome work!

I did get some stuff to help take photos easier. I have a white stage, some black/mirror plates and I have the macro lens and a pro light.

Yeah, it does look good. Maybe only lacking in resolution (pun not intended, not a lot of detail) but that is most likely a hardware limitation rather than personal skills.

(@nymz what camera did you use, assuming its from a phone that has a few years on it.)

Xiaomi mi 10. One year old. That photo got pixelized because of the sun…

This one was taken today

Yup, you can do it. No problem. :+1:

Oh, I meant copper and gold plated, mixed in a 4 or 8 core

Does not exist as of now. But custom is possible as you know.

Thanks, means a lot. Need to get better lightning. Maybe when I move into another house! Or maybe outside…

Cable looks amazing. How flexible is it? And how are the microphonics on it? I bought a sorry ass cable off Amazon a few years back, it looked amazing in product photos but was stiff as steel and microphonics were terrible. I ended up returning it. Now I have the Tripowin C8 for my FH5 and it’s very soft and flexible though it has started to darken in color however no issues with it. I just wanted to try the 4.4mm balanced thing since my new dac has that now.

Whoops I posted this in the wrong thread, I really dislike the mobile/phone site. Looks a bit more steel blue then I thought it would, but it is a welcome surprise.

Edit: changed my mind and decided to use the 2 core xinhs on the Variations and the white A6 on the Oracle

Looks good, congratz! Also, there’s an android app for the forum, not sure if you’re using it!

No microphonics. The cable is amazing. Not stiff, behaves pretty well. Quality is top notch. I used it all day and gotta say I really like it. Now I’m interested in the 4 core version as well, since it might be lighter, even tho it measures worse.

Cons of the cable: Price and it’s on the heavy side.

What I love about it is #1 its resistance measurement is incredible. #2 it’s extremely flexible and it has no memory. It doesn’t stay bent at all. Where you lay it is where it stays. It’s perfectly non microphonic.

BUT… The 8 core is heavy. But for me, that’s a preference. I don’t like when cables won’t stay put behind my ears.
