Recommended IEM Cables

i got the 50% off linsoul coupon + with black friday 20% off i can get the euphrosyne for $35 or the nymph for $47, anybody with both of these cables recommend one over the other? if the nymph is better a $12 difference doesn’t matter that much, thanks!

For anyone considering the 24 core XINHS graphene cable, it is slightly lighter (basically the same weight ngl) than the 4 core, but much softer and rounder. But is quite prone to tangling compared to the 4 and 8 cores.

Ended up swapping the 8 core to my clair and 4 to my 3DT lol.

What tips are those on the 3DTs?

Currently using final audio type-e on everything

Thanks. Do they fit on the nozzle OK? I’ve got these but never tried to fit them as the bore looks a very tight fit.

It is quite tight initially but i found it easier than spinfit cp100s

Looking to get a new cable for my Mangird Xenns UP to get a 4.4mm plug without an adapter. I thought this was the place to ask, but how much do I have to spend on an aftermarket cable to get equal or better quality than my original cable?

XINHS gets my vote…

Which one pairs well with Timeless?

I’m using the the pure silver one which pairs well with them especially when they’re driven by hybrid tubes… saying that I’ve not tried the graphene one on Timeless as I only have a 2 pin version :worried: so maybe someone else can give their opinion on that match :+1:

Just bought discounted hakugei cable recently for about 31.34$

Expectation

Reality… well I’m kinda satisfied with the color actually

Have you seen this cable? Looks quite nice and the connector also looks solid.
Do you generally use those kind of multi termination cables and swap the termination often? I think this may be safer cost wise in the long run than changing the whole cable and risking damage to the earpiece’s socket

I’ve got a question, I recently bought the Linsoul LSC08 cable which is a nylon covered cable and it is extremely microphonic for some reason. I tried to make the ear hook as tight as possible but it did not improve it. Anybody here know why?

In my experience, Nylon is very durable and can protect wires well, but also transfers unwanted sound (microphonics) along with it. As to why that is, I do not know.

I assume it is because it isn’t as smooth as the plastic materials we typically use, so it catches on everything.

Spent 15seconds thinking what is SHNIX…

I guess this is a lesson not to make a logotype that can be read bottom up as well.
My company made that as well by naming the product ZEUS in a font that makes it look like SNAZ when read bottom up. And the product is normally worn bottom up, so we get all those clients asking why the hell they have snazzy hand. You could never unsee that :eye:

XINHS has a cheaper modular option (not graphene):

Has anyone tried any of their similar OFC Silver Plated, 8 Core 3-dimensional Braided non-modular cables? I’d just like to know if the material is soft enough and wraps well without kink.
