To me they have always been the same and the treble for me is still there. Instead of opting in for a cheaper Pentaconn cable, I’ve decided to order a custom cable from XINHS, make it modular and order a female 2pin to male Pentaconn adapter instead so that I can use the Pilgrims on any cable that I have in my collection left.
This is my opinion, I don’t believe changing the cable of the IEMs changes the sounds overall, for I really cannot fathom that logic unless someone is here have concise and well-researched evidence that it does changes the sound overall, otherwise I change the cable for the comfort, fit and looks.
