Alright, so HBB’s Mele and the FD3 pro, but then I’m done. No really…
Do you have the time to listen to the words of the Bud Gods?
I swear im seeing that Chaconne winking at me…
I had the x6 which died in me and I have the Smabat M2 pro (non-s, oops). I prefer IEMs for the isolation. I only use buds when I don’t want t be isolated, for instance when I’m biking. I’m safe for now
Yea same (let’s see how long that last
). Just hope there are no QC issues.
So you guys know the method of buying the Final Audio E500/E1000 to get those awesome Type E tips right?
Well, if you are lucky, you might be able to get them even cheaper.
They are included in the iems called “iRiver ICP-AT2000” and the “iRiver ICP-AT1000”.
They are Korean iems for 13 usd!
Sadly it doesnt seem like you can buy it at that price unless you are in Korea…
It (1000) is being sold on amazon japan though, but more expensive (and doesnt ship to sweden rip)…

(they seem to have ties to Astell&Kern.)
Wow, interesting. Glad to know iRiver is still around and kicking. I used to have some of their cheap and honestly pretty bad MP3 players back in the day.
IRiver used to make pretty decent mp3 players but I guess that bussiness went down
I might be a bit harsh, honestly early MP3 players all had some level of compromise. Heck my first one was a Diamond Rio with a massive 32mb of storage space…
32mb!!! Oh damn, dont think I ever experienced something like that. (although I have no idea what the specs on my dumbphone was like 12 years ago or something.)
My first Mp3 was a shitty white label with 16mbs. Good old times.
Rocked this one for years:
Then moved to iPod classic 32gbs
Yep It was like $200 or so at the time and a 128MB smart media card was also a few hundred as well.
I only remember the time when external HDD´s at 1TB was around 100 usd (nowadays you can get 4-5TB for that price lol).
It was worth it at the time, because what anyone tells you anti skip portable CD players were not really anti skip. They were just slightly less skip.
I guess you are younger than some of us man, hahaha. I had one of those when i was like 15
Modern ones are better since they have enough memory to store a whole song or a few songs in buffer, but back then it was like 5 seconds of “anti skip” if that.
Indeed, I am only 21.
