RikudouGoku's Database (IEMs/Earbuds/Headphones Ranking list)

I didn’t like the Epro horns as much as the Tennmak, but tips can be very personal so I can’t guarantee which you will like better. They both do about the same thing to the sound and the nozzle depth and bore width is about the same. The difference to me is the turbo uses these little silicone fan blade like protrusions between the bore and the silicone shell that feels like it supports the IEM more comfortably in the ear.

As far as Azla goes I have the xelastec and not the new crystal long stem. The xelastec is a thicker and stickier material that some hate. For me it only gets bothersome after a longer session. It also does about what you would expect from a wide bore tip. Maybe a bit more mid range as well due to the way the sound reflects off of the material it uses.

I agree, I would not use the ePro in deep fitting IEMs. They work nicely in shallow fit ones like my BL-03 though which is where they are being used right now.

Can I have the link for Azla Crystal

Finally!!

Cant wait for impressions on LBBS and Yincrow. The Faaeals i didnt like one bit, not sure why.

I’m really tired of waiting over a month for anything purchased at Ali. It really takes the fun out of buying something. Most of the time when something finally arrives, I’ve forgotten about it. I’m like… Oh yeah… I ordered this.

Also depends on the store. Xinhs takes 7 work day for me

Well, I cant fault them too much since the EU changes is delaying everything.

Faaeal impressions:

Faaeal Iris 2.0: Warm-neutral, very well-tuned with impressive tech. Guaranteed to review this one. Preliminary rank A+

Faaeal Iris Ancestor: Bass-boosted neutral (a bit bassier than the 2.0), very well-tuned, it is a warmer Iris CE white and less fatigue but similar tech. Also, warmer than the 2.0 but worse tech. Preliminary rank A

Faaeal Iris CE Grey: Neutral, warmer than the white version but with better timbre, tech is similar. Preliminary rank A-

(Iris ranking, preliminary) 2.0 > Ancestor > CE grey > CE White

Lucky! It always takes at least a month to get anything ordered from Xinhs and I live in the US.

My order is currently tracking for 08/16 that I ordered 07/30… but it hasn’t left China yet so who knows how accurate the estimate is.

Its very accurate. At the moment, since you pay vat on demand, aliexpress is one of the fastest for me, since it passes right along the customs. Wish we could only use amazon, tho.

Got some cables in from Openheart on aliexpress.

I really like the look of the blue and green one. Once I find my multimeter I’ll get some measurements

Wow, that blue/green looks damn nice.

Only thing I’m confused about is the mmcx connectors on the blue/green cable. There is no red and blue band to indicate right and left. Only a small band going around the outside of one.

Guess you should try to connect one of them (L or R) to an iem, then play the stereo test on youtube:

The connector with the band is the left channel.

I really like the song they use on that left right test. I always use that one for that reason.

lol, that was the first one I found and it works so no need to find another just for a better track. :joy:

It just kinda became habit when I get a new pair of IEMs, headphones, or cables I always do a quick play of that just to make sure I didn’t screw up.
