Since they already come with vibration, do they come in ribbed, while you’re at it?
Nah, still same resin.
Seeing all the Project Red measurements with different impedance adapters I wonder how (Riku)buds behave with those adapters but I don’t have any here to try out. Any experiences?
Red changes because its a multi driver setup with uneven impedance curve. With single DDs that (majority) have a flat impedance curve, there will not be any changes in FR.
Okay…
I know this from headphones too.
DT900
Focal Clear
Maybe not so extreme and well controlled in the sub bass like with the Zero but still.
Thats because they are not flat, especially the focal.
Most dds are almost completely flat.
You can see the response it would have with a differing OI from the source here.
(dunno the zishan OI though but probably 10-60 ohm I guess, compared to the apple at 1 ohm iirc.)
P20 has 47ohm OI.
Always thought it was more the other way around, most are variable and some are flat. Thanks for the input.
Nope, most are flat. BAs on the other hand, is the complete opposite, where I am pretty sure there isnt a single BA without an uneven imp curve. Although the 64 audio U12t does have their LID tech that helps a lot.
(same goes for hybrids)
Planars are also flat like DDs.
Speaking of different driver types, does anyone have any experience with the Shure KSE line? I’m curious about them since they seem to be the only true electrostatic iem currently.
(I’m also trying real hard to convince myself not to buy them)
I’m pretty sure Andy Audio vault/ Osprey Andy of Dongle Madness and Iem reviews has extensive experience with it . Reach out to him. I am not sure of the best way , but he always responds to comments on his YouTube channel
Question are these graphs just regular measurements or is the another feature of REW? @GooberBM sent me an impedance adapter to test on some of his IEMs and this knowledge would be good to have.
Nvm, wrong post!
If you rank is updated with new models.
Not really beyond the few iems I recently got.
The RG39 shell is designed with oval-shaped stems to provide an optimized wearing experience, ensuring superior comfort and support for the Tragus, Antitragus, and the Intertragal notch of the ear.
(soundsphere pic/explanation next week.)
Not only is it well fitted to ear anatomy, but I can assure all of you that due to it’s shape it feels very good in hand lol
Mmmm…stroking softly
