Is the Zen Pro the “Mystery IEM” in his ranking list?

Now I’m curious and you know why. lol
I think I’m skipping this now. I don’t need another “neutral” IEM, but I understand why DUNU is doing what they’re doing.
This is probably what they intended for the Zen, considering its name lol.

Maybe I will pick up a pair and give earbuds another look. I think the last pair I bought were JVC Jelly/gummy/cant recall back in the late 90’s early 2000’s

Do these new gen earbuds fit better or do they still pull down on the little nub at the bottom of the ear.
Do you mean the older MX500 shell?
That generally looks like the earbuds I remember. That and the Apple classic buds are really the main shape I used to use.
Yeah, the LBBS, bell shape is more comfortable than the MX500 ones. Although the MX500 fits more secure at the cost of comfort I guess.
Maybe the solution for me might actually be the ear hooks… since it is really the weight of the cable pulling the bud out of the ear an down on the apparently Tragus
The LBBS is very small and lightweight though. Personally I cant use buds over ear.
They are pretty reasonably cheap so probably still worth a chance. Might actually be nice to have something that sounds good and gives me a bit more situational awareness as well.
Ouch the Zen Pro is a bit of a letdown it seems, that just makes me even more satisfied with the Dunu Zen.
The Zen is a freaking monster imo, it holds its own even against a LCD-X, and for those into EQ that treble roll-off is easy to fix. Happy camper here! hahaha
BTW, i am currently waiting for a new stack (Modius + Asgard 3), lets see how the Zen and the LCD-X sound with those.
