Yeah, its a complete kit lol.
I only use the tweezer and the foams.
Glue is not needed IMO.

Ok thanks.
As I am waiting for the mesh filter I am listening to stock CRA so that I will be able to hear the difference after modding hopefully
OOTB I am very impressed. I won’t say much for now, just that 5kHz sensitive people should not be afraid. The peak is here, it’s a bit hot, but nothing like stock DQ6 (unbearable for me at times).
pst, just put up my Sennheiser HD560S for sale:
Kato review should be done this weekend.
Hello! Longtime lurker, first time commenter here
So, I have a pretty random question for @Rikudou_Goku or anyone else in the thread that have purchased stuff from Japanese Amazon in the past?
I’m planning to buy some ear tips (Deep mount, Spiral Dots etc.) and perhaps even IEMs (Sony XBA-N3) I’m just wondering if someone knows if they will most likely be delivered by DHL/FedEx etc… Or regular postal service.
I appreciate any insights and wish you all a very good day
DHL only
Awesome, thank you!
As @nymz mentioned, they use dhl express. And you don’t have to worry about import fees coming later, because you pay everything at once in amazon.
tanchjim echo arrived a couple days ago, filters arrived today, using your mods and it slams, thanks for the info!
Thank you, that’s good to know

A worthy successor to the old KXXS. The tuning nozzles are pretty much identical, which is why you can mod around with one of them without risk.
I wonder how the new DQ6S compares to the DQ6 with the Tanchjim filters in. @Rikudou_Goku gonna review?
KZ is sending me one with UPS. CNY holidays will probably make it delayed though.
I will compare it with my high-density tuning foam mod in the review for sure.
Looking forward to it!

Massive thanks to MRS/Super-reviews for helping me with this.
Wow what setup do you use for earbuds measurements ? Fake ear and specific coupler ?
IEC711 + Earbud → iem adapter.
(naked earbud)
That is smart
Its consistent, but of course not representative of what you hear IRL.
Its easy for others to replicate though, since it isnt DIY. (except that you just need to remove the outer flange, so it turns into a single flange “tip”.)
Certainly we have to take into account sound leakage, especially low frequencies I assume ?
