Thanks for the trust.

Right now its only Dunu that has sent me stuff over 300 usd.

While Penon for example is 100% ignoring my messages on mail and head-fi…

I pulled the trigger on them anyways lol. I guess they’re cheap even if they might disappoint.

Cables came in today…

Pretty disappointed with the blue cable which I was the most excited for. I thought it was going to be made of a soft fabric but it’s made of a slightly sticky plastic. It’s also quite bulky and heavy. I prefer cables with some weight to them, but this cable goes past my comfort zone. Not giving up on it. Just expected something very different than what I received.

If the silver cable really is pure silver for only 25 bucks, this should be the default recommendation for a silver cable. It feels very similar to the Fiio FD5 cable which is awesome.

The copper cable is probably my favorite of the bunch. Just beautiful and only 23 bucks.

Thanks for the suggestions as always @Rikudou_Goku!

Rip blue cable.

Yeah, I have high expectations with that silver cable. Do you perhaps have the NiceHCK Litzps or Kbear limpid? As I suspect that, that cable is the same as those but in 8 core (aka, their pro version).

My package is being delivered by snails…hope I at least get it before the next sale ends in 2 weeks…

I have this KBear…

https://www.amazon.com/Silver-Earphone-0-78mm-Replacement-Headphone/dp/B08N5VVKF7/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=8+Core+Silver+Earphone+Cable+2pin+0.78mm+Replacement+Cable+with+2.5mm+Headphone+Cable+Plug+for+ES4+ZST+ZSN+ZS3+ZSR+CCA+C10+C04+CA4+AS10+ZS10+C12+C16+V80+V90+KB06(2pins+2.5mm)&qid=1616086109&s=industrial&sr=1-1

They both feel similar.

After playing with them last night, the silver is my favorite of the three. I’ve come to the conclusion my personal preference is a copper cable with a silver coating, but anyone wanting to hear what a silver cable can do for their audio, I think this cable would be a fantastic option at an extremely low cost.

The copper cable is a bit stiff for my liking.

I have no means to test the cables.

…I hope you didnt buy that from amazon…

Thats the limpid pro, which I suspect is 100% the same cable as the one from XINHS.
I sadly dont have the limpid pro (nor the litzs pro which is the same cable), but I have the 4-core versions of those cables. So if the XINHS silver cable measures lower than the 4-core versions, it should be the confirmation we need to say that they are the same cable.

Of course I did. :frowning:

I hate Aliexpress. Shipping takes forever. I love instant gratification.

I’m still not a believer that that cable can really be actual silver for only $25.35.

I had enough…

Calling out this piece of shit that is calling himself a reviewer.

Also one of those that says “no cons”, fuck you. You are not a reviewer you are a SHILL!!!

I went through 60 of his reviews, and you guys wanna know what the lowest rating is? 3.5/5. A majority of them are 4.5/5 and most of them are 4.5-5/5…

I seriously hope no one is falling for this shit…

I agree, i saw his review of the Spirit Torino Superleggera, he said they were “so good oh so musical!”.
I have heard them. Take Beats bass + distant and sibilant voices in the “S” region (for context i have no problems with the “S” sound from my HD800S) + suffocated highs + the technical abilites of a HD660S and you have a 1300 euros piece of crap pair of headphones.
“Musical” my ass, he indeed isn’t a reviewer but a shill.

Hey @Rikudou_Goku
any chance you heard tin p2? I am thinking taking them or mangird tea.

From iems we both have i can see we both quite like FD5, Tin P1 (I might like it more than you, hence thinking p2  ), Fh3…

Sorry for random question, I just don’t know anyone else to specifically ask and I feel you might tell something interesting

I lost interest in the P2 after Tin hifi screwed up their pricing with it.

And I wouldnt recommend a planar iem if you dont have power to drive it either. With the P1 I only rec it if you got power and can use EQ with it.

Graph wise the P2´s treble looks like it got too much upper-treble for me as well.

And reviews on it isnt really that good so that was the final nail in the coffin.

Right now there is a new planar iem called “PMV PP” that looks interesting. But it just released so no info at all on it.

Good to see you showing some honest emotion. More of this please.

Ok, I got power to push it but I just noticed on Aliexpress that the price is 235$ for P2 vs 150$ for Mangird Tea… that makes the choice a little easier lol.
I know you speak highly about tanchjm oxygen too, I have to say they sound even more exotic, are they better in anything specific than FD5s or Mangird Tea?

sorry, i meant £ for prices

There are a lot of shills I could call out.

One example that I actually fell for is “majorhifi” with their Final Audio F3100 review…more like majorscam. That is one of the worst iem I have heard. 0 bass, makes the Tin P1 that I already think is anemic sound bassy…

Isn’t this cable the same as this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001166709135.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.64b53c004874zO&mp=1 only thicker? Very similar from looks. XINHS is different?

His Freya review…

Kinera Freya - Lavish Beauty & Natural Sound
Pros: + Build Quality

  • AESTHETICS
  • BEAUTIFUL
  • NICE

How the fuck can Nice and Beautiful be a PRO  :man_shrugging:

Oxygen is one of the best iems for vocals that I have heard. But if you want a more bassy sound the FD5 is better.

Cant comment on the Tea since I dont have it.

Seriously? Was already thinking of getting a second one (the revised one). Got a link???

Lots of questionable statements there…

graph btw, looks horrible. sounds horrible…
