EU volume limit is contagious I guess, spreading all the way to the US.
On my iPhone it’s enough of a pain (but I should be grateful it works) to set all my bluetooth receivers as “other” rather than “headphone” or “speaker” so I don’t keep getting told by a bothersome notification that I’m playing things too loudly.
It doesn’t cover the basic understanding that 100% on the device piped through 20% on the BT DAC/amp is anything but too loud.
It’s a fairly safe assumption they’re riding on that almost everyone is going straight to a TWS or just BT headphones, but still, even if we were… it’s so heavy handed and coddling. A one-time warning followed by the expectation that individuals can make decisions for themselves once informed should be all.
yeah, the issue is that we CANT remove it…
like…at least have it in switchable in options with a big warning and thats it. Eu shouldnt be the one telling people to not listen too loud, thats up to your parents…
Any word on price?
$179
Ohhhhhh… I might be apologizing to my wallet…
Looks like KBear/TRI is jumping into the Dual DD game. We’ll see if they go full-Variations too, or not
I have a green one on the way comes in blue too. And 4.4 option. 6mm Ti and 10mm Berry dual DD so far only thing I know. lets hope KBEAR can get back to a nicely tuned IEM with the TRI StarRiver
I hope they keep doing what they’ve been doing and don’t go back to the same-old same-old everyone else is doing.
I appreciate that KBear doesn’t go for safe, and tries riskier tunings
Its basically a cheap Mysphere, if whoever made it didnt gave a shit
So two colors , two tuning switches, option for 4.4. Dual DD. Two most important things missing tuning and price. If KBEAR can do this well on the StarRiver and put 2022 behind and TRI back on the rec list. We will see samples going out now. I picked green ?
I’ll be waiting for a graph but if the price is right this might be a tempting one!
Rumored overseas price translates to $40usd, so it’s gonna stay near Zero/Khan price.
Yeah, I’m trying this one
More deets on the new 660S2 that will replacing the 660S
I bef to differ. Out of all of those, I heard the Chu, Titan S and Cadenza. They all sound different.
Chu was alright but not enough bass. Titan S was too bright. Cadenza, I love it dearly.
Bonus IEM: i had the Starfildd briefly and I found it boring and too dark in the treble.
So 2022 was Planar , 2023 Dual DD for cheap year? I would rather see a sub
$300 Quality Planar DD EST or Bone conduction Set.
