I absolutely love Anime. I’m just not a fan of this type of engraving on boxes. I keep the boxes stored incase I decide to sell something and in my hosehold, I’ll get some disapproving looks over the engraving. It’s not a big thing I guess, just something I thought I’d share.
I care more about the sound so it’ll be interesting to see how this one will perform.

I mean there is a point where it’s like wtf but boxes don’t need to be displayed and can be thrown in a closet or something, the man cave posters and body pillows some people have though

Yeah I thought that was weird also, I’m not sure I assume the second one will be cheaper? It says “around $300” so maybe $250ish. I don’t see why you’d cannibalize one product directly with another, unless it’s different driver tech or one’s a closed back or something idk.
possibly one is wired while the other is wireless?

Got mine today! I’m going to be listening to them nonstop. They’re incredible. Any idea what the break-in time might be? I know they will only age like a fine wine.

nice, enjoy! How is the bass on these?
Bass is ever so slightly more present, in the right kind of way, and seems to extend lower. These will not be mistaken for bass cannons. CA has not deviated from the Andro character. Wish I could swing the 2.6K for the Solaris to compare those.
Edit: I discovered last night that on some tracks bass was outstanding. when called for, sub bass is definitely more present than the 2020. But not on every track.

Don’t know if someone posted about already, but Hifiman announced a new DAC/Amp together with the Audivina. The EF600 seems cool and it’s $200 more than the EF400. But it would be nice to know power specs and if Hifiman solved the issue with the phase unbalance in the channels.

I saw this yesterday, I’m a huge fan of the EF400 and this one has got me excited. At the moment, I’m not sure about the design or the volume knob but still, I might get this as soon as it’s released.
The Phase issues were only on a few models. I contacted HiFiMan and shared my serial number. They said my unit was not effected by the issue.

that looks CHONK, it’s like 3 A90’s thick lmao, yeah not sure about the design but if it’s good and hifiman has a loyalty coupon like the EF400 I might be tempted.

And I quite like the “non-square box” design, even if it’s a little bigger. I would like it more if it was something like the iFi Neo, but you can’t have everything.
