man…why is such a great company getting into Snakeoil? :frowning:

because in the world of audio, it sells :frowning:

To be fair I though they already had some dubious products along these lines

this is true… :frowning:

First question I had was… is the claim measurable? Second… Can I actually hear a difference? The third one was, is that device going to put too much stress on the physical interface? 90 bucks seems a bit much to me.

I re-cabled the path to the streaming PC with some nice CAT 8 and I have not had a problem. I don’t think I am interested in this device. But that is me.

Softears Studio4 is live!

A damn, you beat me to it. But where is the graph? :smirk:

When are you getting it to give us the REAL graph, though?

Side note: I feel personally attacked by this graph. Flat by 100Hz…Jesus that has NO Midbass. Who is THIS allergic to midbass?

That mid-bass response is gonna be a no from me, dog.

In other news, a new version of the Link2 is available now, called the Max. Same power output as far as I can understand, with some improvements involving the cross-talk performance, signal to noise ratio and increased SE power output.

A retuned “High plains drifter” …Low plains drifter

…well I guess I’m glad I had the L2bal on my wish list and didn’t make any move on it because I’d be feeling feelings about a Max version dropping if I had bought it recenty

Same here - I had my eyes on it as well but never pulled the trigger. Big plus - the Max is the same price!

Not gonna lie, kind of looks like a poor man’s EJ07 OG with a little later bass shelf and slightly more even top-end extension through 15khz (but on a graph, so who knows?).

Like most people have already said, unless someone proclaims this the second coming I would wait on numerous reviews.

If these sound anything like the OG 07s for half the cost, I’m in. But I definitely will wait for some reviews and maybe even a direct comparison by a trusted reviewer.

I absolutely loved the EJs at CanJam, so if I could have something similar for even less, I’ll be interested.

100% they won’t that 3k rise…

Good point - the Mid-bass also comes down a lot sooner than the EJs … pipe dream it is :smiling_face_with_tear:

Volume PTSD. :joy:

And if someone forced me to blind buy an iem at that price range at guin point, it would be the Simgot EA2000.

Don’t right it off yet due to vague graphs… ears say different? :crossed_fingers:

My interest in the EA2000 lies solely in the bass radiator. I know how good they can sound so…
