Rumors and new releases thread

Nope, this is just marketing.

That is at 16ohm. Standard is to use 32ohm and you get 250mw if its just converted like that.

I mean the listing I’m seeing on Ali shows 500 mW also for 32 ohms. And 0.00015% THD+N? For that price? WTF. I expect some kind of failure in real-world measurements, there’s no way. Maybe it has some atrocious THD curve that shows godawful values at frequencies away from 1k. Also, I don’t like that they’re not publishing a crosstalk spec for a BAL source, or that they say max output is 2 Vrms, which does not correspond to 500 mW. Even if it’s the sum of both channels it still doesn’t correspond to 2 Vrms.

yeah I wouldnt trust their specs everything looks off.

Not sure if these are a new release or I’ve only just discovered them, look interesting though…

Interesting. How did you discover these?

They are intriguing and bizarre at the same time. I don’t what exactly what it is about them, but they feel and look like a commercial product. Perhaps it’s the lack of marketing and the presentation on their website…
It’s as if this is the result of a company making a product solely for the sake of generating money—the type of product that’s made in a business meeting. I don’t see any soul or passion inside them. We are left with so many questions, and who even is behind this product.

What I wrote above is judging and jumping to conclusions backed by nothing. Don’t be like me!

I think it would be very helpful if the manufacturer and the team behind this shared a little bit about themselves and their journey of making this headphone. It’s stated that it took several years to make them, and I’m sure the majority of us would like to hear how they got to where they are today, with the current version of the product.

It just gets weirder. The website states that the headphones and electronics were made with the help of a company called oerad.tech ltd, wich seems to be a company that develops small scale radar solutions.

Came up while I was browsing eBay so I did a search to fined the manufacture…

Not sure how new it is but I’ve never seen or heard of the Clavelon Delta before

Or a magnetic titanium driver, unless it’s just a titanium driver because all DD coils use electromagnetism

Edit: just the tip of the iceberg. Linsoul have some… unique items for sale. Fun to see tbh.

I’m thinking this is in my immediate future for sure. For $300, it has so many features, not to mention the M4 has been my favorite portable source I’ve owned up to now so Muse is on my very good side right now.

same, this and the DC Elite are def tries for different reasons, M4 for me does something to the highs of the S12 that completely smooth out anything i could fault on other sources, that pairing is my reference for top end and mids, now for me the bass is whats lacking on the M4 but ive learned to live with it and only use certain iems with it. But ya for all those features plus something unique? easy purchase

It’s so crazy that you say that about the bass lol the main reason I love the M4 over my other sources is the way it renders mid bass, it makes it so punchy and tactile. It seems to make all of my IEMs more dynamic, compared to say the BTR7 which lacks in dynamics relatively speaking… The screen broke on my BTR7 so I can’t really see what the settings are beyond the app on my phone so I’m not sure if anything on there is changed making the dynamics sound lacking compared to the M4, but that is what I hear.

The only big downside to the Muse in my experience is the way it powers really demanding IEMs, like the Titans for example. It just can’t do it. The left channel starts to distort above a certain volume level, which I can’t see. Besides that, it’s an awesome little source.

im mostly on Planars so this could skew that for me, i can just tell the m15, yuki, and btr15 have more solidity in the bass, but man those highs, and if the ultra can keep that or improve along with bass, then its gonna be my go to. BTR 15 is purely for work and it has that clip case so its way better for mobility, favorite on that is the OG Timeless
Bummer about the screen, i worry about that but hey that BTR17 is right around the corner lol.

I’ve heard good things about that Yuki… the looks are a little funky but I like it.
I’m really hoping that BTR17 is a banger, I’m waiting for that to release before I set my eyes on a portable source 100%. That M5 Ultra is looking SICK, and for $300 I’m not sure how anyone can touch that. If the FiiO is the same price @ $300, then I’ll def be going for the M5 just for the tube aspect of it. Having that flexibility is pretty dope.

the Yukie SE version just came out for cheaper as well, def like the color, but not sure what has changed sound wise

yes i feel i have some different sound signature but nothing tube and since most of my listening is portable, its a no brainer for me, still trying to find when and where exactly its going on sale
