Hmm, maybe it’s a contrast or refresh rate thing with the text? I remember there being issues with text legibility and clarity when games first moved to HD, from SD on CRT screens to HD and LCD/LED.
I dont think its the refresh rate at least as both my vertical (IPS) and this amoled monitor are 60hz.
Seen plenty of people complain about how text looks on their oled/amoled screens though and we are talking about those 10k+ monitors…

Very odd that I was listening to my 60e’s after my headband came in and this is the first thing that popped up on Reddit
$2500…
Hifiman starts to act like Chinese phone companies, a new model every few weeks. Well, it works in the phone market and especially in the IEM market.
£2700. Hybrid, DD for Bass and Planar for the rest.
Well that Isvarna isn’t exactly a looker if you ask me. Is that a semi-closed? Anyway, Hifiman and anything even remotely closed just doesn’t work.
Let’s see if this one breaks the mold.
They are still kind of using the big angled cup they stole from the Sony MDR R10 for their HE-R9 and R10 for a better diffusion of the back waves.
Semi closed as it seems, yes. Giant ports on the bottom, looks a little like the ones from the Sony Z7 but even bigger.
DUNU DK3001BD 1DD+4BA+4Micro Planar Drivers
ok wow that is ugly af…their OG DK3001 Pro design was so good…
Looks like they’re falling into the same trend as the Moondrop MIAD01 and Hiby R4. The whole Evangelion bit… I’m not personally a fan, but I can’t say I hate it either. Not every day I get to put a 2-prong “spanner” screwdriver head to use so that’s a fun one probably picked for aesthetics.
I believe this is a cyberpunk theme. The previous rep told me that they wanted to have a collab with cyberpunk 2077…until they saw how bad it was at launch lol.
(this is years old info and probably not accurate anymore.)
It certainly has that Eva/Shirow feel to the design language, it wouldn’t surprise me if it were a repurposed collab item.
Edit: That designation of DK3001BD makes me immediately think of this:
They’re not hiding it. The ‘BD’ stands for Braindance. It’s written in their PR blurb.
$239.99 usd !
2nd Generation for DT1990 & 1770 Headphones
Edit:
1st Gen DT1990’s are on sale for 38.5% off or $(649.99 - 250) = $399.99 as a result of the 2nd-Gen headphones being released.
It’s such a niche need in the grand scheme of things given the extra hurdles a company would have to go through… but the BT receiver that can play on shuffle from a MicroSD (without the files having to be in one giant unorganized root directory) gets my money immediately.
I think I made up my mind, brev… the BTR17 is where it’s at
Shanling h2 has this ability, however it is quite huge for BT dongle
Also from what I’ve heard, all the files would need to be at root level, and I was unsure if it could shuffle or not. Either way when I was looking into it, I found “shuffling a MicroSD” wouldn’t work out on it like I’d hoped.
