well…those quad sonion EST´s are quite expensive.

The news we have all been waiting for…
Louis Vuitton is releasing a high-fidelity, audiophile, loudspeaker that will sound spectacular! I heard that it makes frequencies that biologically affects our mind in a positive way.
The big reveal
Unfortunately, I have to confess that the above description is made up and was created for the shits & giggles. I’m sorry, I know it sounded too good to be true
To quote Chyrosran22, it’s HIDEEEEEOUS
The Montblanc’s actually look pretty nice, especially in the white colorway… However, the price is not particularly nice.
They are probably after the same public considering the Apple AirPods Max. But they indeed look really nice and well finished.
A couple releases on Apos: a new tube amp and custom cables?
Xduoo TA-26 a bit of a chunky boy
And some custom balanced cables that… is it just me, or do these look a lot like HAC but without the modularity?
Incredibly similar to Hart cables and overpriced considering the similarity and not being modular.
I agree, most if the Tribrids with EST drivers are above $500. Moondrop Variations is the cheapest of the bunch.
The GS Audio SE5 (1 DD + 2 BA + 2 EST) is the cheapest tribrid right now:
These looks similar to Hisenior Audio iems.
Soncoz has released it’s first Headphone Amplifier the SGA1, designed to match the the SGD1.
You mean this brand?
Or HS Audio?
GS Audio (OEM) = HS Audio
Yeah. Oh I didn’t know that.
I got the Apos alert for the TA-26 a day after I ordered up the TA-20. My first thought was DOOH! But after getting my first session in with the TA-20 I have
The TA-26 should garner some reviews very quickly, I’m interested in the immediate thoughts of the YT gang and then the tube geek experience unfurled.
Hidizs USB-C to Lightning cable…
I’m very happy with my current setup except my fiio x5 3rd gen. Seeing as most my music listening is with digital files on a micro sd card I seem to be having issues playing any DSD from my fiio to my gear (I can never seem to get it working properly) that being said I just don’t like it hooked into my system. This Little portable music player hooked into my gear all ugly looking as if it was on life support.
After seeing Apos listing the SMSL SD-9 I am very intrigued. It would fit nicely in my current setup stack, it accepts not only micro sd but also USB for an external hdd ect. Best of all it has a remote which is a big plus. I usually like to go through a few reviews before making a decision but nobody has yet that I know of. I may just have to pull the trigger and order one. Perhaps I’ll review it if nobody still has after a trial run.
Very interesting product and something I’d buy for the desktop just for the ability to convert RCA into SE… can someone smarter than me figure out if both outputs are available with one input? I can’t seem to find anything explicit on the FAQ but there’s a lot of techie about phasing and true balanced blah blah that’s beyond me.
