Never heard of Hyland. Kinda looks like a UK ZMF?
Yeah a fledgling ZMF you could call them a one man band at the moment
Really like my first set from Alex…he keeps upping his game …recessed hardware, nicer pads …I assume higher quality drivers…love seeing diy dudes grow. Still digging my first set
IMO the move to make is to wait for the Raal SR1A v2 once they get the issues ironed out. I have suspicion that Raal will be able produce a much more compelling ribbon implementation where this is a hobby project for audeze.
Thats my guess as well, but I’m also guessing their over ear cans are going to be 4k+ if not pushing 6k
So Audeze apparently has more surprises planned this week. I hope the LCD-R isn’t the low point.
Topping releases the balanced variant of D10S.
LCD-E?
10char
70mm dynamic
oooh. confirmed?
Lol no. Just trying to think of the most left field thing possible
Late 2020 they hinted at a good amount of good stuff coming out in 2021. All mid to higher end stuff. I always root for Audeze although they had misteps. I hope there is more fun on the way.
I heard “not headphone”. So like… I’m curious if a speaker is going to be made. I have not seen Audeze shoot down an e-stat but I sincerely doubt it.
I’m waiting to see a speaker.
Oh, now that would ve interesting. Not a bad bet actualy. I was over here thinking like hearing aids or something
Maybe some amps again. I heard their other ones were pretty ok. But if it were an amp then why not do one for the lcd-r. Well we will wait and see.
Tbf a current drive amp is way way different than most HP amps. Probably less applicable to a wider range of products
The King amps were really unreliable. The reviews on how they sounded were positive if only limited to Audeze products.
Definitely a place for an amp with multiple inputs. Guessing the amp section may be like 601. With preouts, this is a pretty accomplished, flexible budget preamp with headphone flexibility.
I don’t love the look of the input switch buttons.
