Glad you enjoy it
Also just going to say that when you get higher end headphones in the future, the differences become more apparent (or with further listening)

Yeah I’m sure I’ll hear more and more as I test with more headphones. I’ve only tested a handful of them so far. I definitely think it was a worthwhile purchase, I’m not knocking it by any means. I’m glad I went with it. Call me crazy, but I also like the weird retro look of it. I went with the red metal enog and black glass to counter the black chassis and red knob of the rnhp. They look well together.
Now you just need to get some neve studio gear to match it lol. Even if you aren’t the intended audience it is something fun to play around with lol (although I don’t know if that’s the most efficient use of funds)
lol I’m the type that would just to play around with too. I’m finishing up my basement this year so I’ll have a lot more room for toys soon . So we shall see lol
So How much of an upgrade would the RNHP be over the Liquid Spark, if I primarily use the Elex?
Pretty large imo, the focal respond very well to the rnhp from my experience
That is close to my current audiophile desire…
Very nice sir!
Can you pull off the red volume knob and replace it with a black one lol?
Now that’s what I’m talking about
I think the red suites the amp
About to say fuck it and pull the trigger on this. Wanna see how much better this pulls ahead of the thx…
Isn’t that the knob from a SP200?
It’s ok imo. I like black.
When I upgrade to the 1k range I am definitely going RNHP
Colors aside, the material difference is night and day. I’d personally stick with the red knob. Maybe spray paint it black if you really wanted a black version.
Yeah I thought about that too.
Blasphemy.
Neve’s knobs are red.
This is true but when it gets in my hands it’ll become Rhodey’s knob and that knob is black haha. But it might grow on me lol.
It looks nice in person. Has a silky/satin look to it.
