Iām a huge fan of these cables. Gotham is prime.
Also, the A3 is an awesome, awesome amp. I got the G111 yesterday and while the G111 wins in detail and soundstage, I really donāt think Iāll be getting rid of my A3 just because how pleasing it is. Feels like the music is giving you a nice, warm hug. Itās very satisfying. An awesome, awesome amp.

I am planning to use the A3, at least for some time, with my old FX-Audio Dax X6 as a DAC (Yesā¦ I also startet here). Maybe Iāll get the Modius one day. Do you think the FX-Audioās DAC quality is substential enough to feed the Asgard proporly? Is it good enough so that most of the benefits of the A3 can be taken advantage of or do you think I should get something like a Topping D10s as a quick solution for now?
For me I canāt really imagine there beeing a big diffrence between letās assume the D10s vs. DAC X6, but I have never tried diffrent DACs so I really canāt say.
Some swear by it, some say you barley notice a diffrence.
Maybe a general take on how much/what kind of a DAC the Asgard 3 needs to be driven nicely?
I mean if you wanna go down that route, everything in your audio chain is a scam. Materials are cheap and you shouldnāt pay people for labor, research and development.
I see what you are saying. There are very expensive cables that can be looked at as a scam, and some are a scam. But you can not write off every cable ever made haha.

How does the A3 compares to the Jot 1?
Are you running a lot of your headphones balanced (or can you?)?
Night and day difference between OG Jote and Asgard 3ā¦ I own both and prefer the A3 greatly. Sound is smoother, The jote may outpower it but not where it counts.

All SE. Just saw a Jot I around the the price of an A3
Iād vote A3 when comparing SE output.
Power isnāt everything, but the Jot1 SE would have given me less output than my Magni 3 at higher impedances.
All depends on your use/needs of course.

Yes, usually very good. Iāve had no issues. I even bought a second hand B-stock from a hifi guides member (making it roughly third hand?), and it was still like new. I personally wouldnāt hesitate with schiit b-stock.
Have purchased multiple pieces, very satisfied.
Same here, bought Magni 3+ and then soon after I bought the Asgard 3, both B-Stock, no regrets.
