šŸ”¶ Sendy Aiva

Hey guys if anyone is interested Iā€™m selling my Sendy Aiva as I really donā€™t listen to them much anymore and Iā€™m looking to partially fund a LCD-X purchase. As usual Iā€™m giving my hifiguides peeps the first chance before I list them on the usual buy/sell sites. PM me if interested for more info.

I fell in love with mine all over again, came across amazing psytrance and wow the bass is shockingly good. Want to get the zmf perf suade pads for them to improve the comfort and sound even more. Not that its needed tbh lol

Looks like some EQ settings were added to that repository:

Yep, I completely agree with his review on it. Actually returned mine cause I didnā€™t feel it was remotely worth the price tag in comparison to my sundaras or aeons. To each their own enjoyment though of course.

Personally I donā€™t think the technical performance is as bad Josh says. My biggest issue with them has been the frequency response. But man I wish I didnā€™t pay full price for them. The resell value on them is not great with all the sales and clones out there.

I dont agree with this review. Joshua Valor has specific tastes. for instance he loves the LCD X. Max Settings did not like it. Max Settings loved the Aiva in his review. Its just preference. But I think he really droped the ball on this review for whatever reason.

I think this is the key; we have different preferences and Z loves the Aiva, so what should we believe? How about our own earsā€¦
I own the Aiva and it is not my favourite HP, but God I love how light and soft it is on my head. I like the sound and it has a place in my collection for sure. The price is too high, but it was hyped so it stayed up there, but that made room for the clones.

Z loves the Aivas and the KPH-30iā€™s. I have found that I do as well.

I am not a fan of the Audeze sound.

You just have to find someone that you share preferences with and go from there.

I have one of the clones (the Sivga) and for under $400 I think it is worth it. It EQs just fine and isnā€™t tuned as brightly as the Aiva. I am curious about the Sundara, but had nowhere to demo one, so I just rolled the dice.

dunno, I picked up both the sundara and sendy aivaā€¦ and the aiva 100% went back in comparison. Got my sundaras for $250 and have stayed in my collection since. Very good headphone.

Agreed. The Aiva is the worst sounding headphone in my collection. It is pretty tho.

Yeah if it sold for 300 it would be more like it. The Blon B20 sells for 350 sometimes. And the Aiva sells for 400$ sometimes

The LCD-X is notorious for unit variance. Max Settings made a point of that in his review, especially how his review pair didnā€™t sound similar to the pair that he tried in the past (based on memory I believe).

How are deez? Z says theeeeeeze. JV says deeeez nuts! Blahahaha. Not sure now
Edit:Jus looked dem up. $600 too damn much
Kph30i here I come baby

You can get Aivas for $400 used if you look in the right places.

I got mine for $400 a few months ago.

As for the sound, pad rolling helps a lot. I did not like the stock pads much, but put the ZMF pads I had on them and am really enjoying the sound. I use minimal EQ to dial it in.

Hard to go wrong with KPH-30iā€™s though. I have 2 pairs, 1 of which has Yaxi Pads (highly recommended), and I really enjoy them as well.

Hi all, I am considering selling my Aivas as I have other new headphones on the way.

If you are interested, please pm me for details.

Thanks.

I created an EQ profile that largely fixes the recessed mids on the Aiva. Can someone try it and give some feedback? I found it to be hugely beneficial for some songs. Iā€™m curious if anyone else thinks the same. If you copy this to a text file, you can easily import it using Peace.
