Heās a good salesman
Lol I donāt think the Zeos hype train can make this thing sell out considering itās $1500 and most people found the Aiva to be meh. But weāll see. Itās in stock on Musicteck atm.
Welcome to the Linsoul storeā¦this way sir
Dude, your photos have been inspiring me to take better and better photos of my gear for years. I love your work. Thank you.
Ha ha, tell me about it!
I was one of them.
This is part true. Except when the reviewer clearly describes what the headphone sounds like. For example, SIVGA P-II is a warm headphone, itās a good headphone, but I still prefer something brighter like the iBasso SR2 or something similar.
It depends on the reviewerās approach. My approach is adaptive, and I always aim to express what a product IS. Sometimes this does taking a step back from my personal preference. Just because something doesnāt fit your personal preference doesnāt make it a bad product. What does make a bad product are bad qualities, and those should always be expressed.
I just got through doing a side-by-side listen of the sound demo of the Peacock and AEON Noire, since Zeos used the same tracks for both, and it surprised me just how much I preferred the Noire. Now, I know thereās no substitute for listening to the headphones in person, but the Peacockās just sounded less clear, less detailed, and more relaxed than the Noire. Starting to think that my preferences lean more towards DMSās/Andrewās than Zeosā, lol.
It depends what you already have though. Iāve got at least 3 headphones that sound like the Noire, so Iād only pick that if I was looking to replace something. I have a fairly open sensibility, so I like a range of headphones (except Harmon tuning, zzzz). Thatās why the Koss lineup is so good.
I have the Clear Mg and HD6XX, along with the FH3 and Kinera Nanna 1.0.
yes but the reviewer should be able to remove their bias and tell us what is objectively going on. otherwise its useless. at least for a moment. instead of gushing about āits hard to describe, Its the best thing ive ever heardā literally meaningless. @Michael @amorock both of you do you feel that not having harman curve is worth this amount of money? the noire and clear MG have decent sound stage and are tuned far better than this, it would sound bland in the high end in comparison. can just get 100$ 6xx to get almost similar tuning but not planar and wide sounding. i guess its sort of unique in its tuning and being open. idk youd really have to not care about high end air and detail and tonal accuracy and bass, which i find extremely important.
Exactly. Wish more reviewers could understand that descriptive words have no meaning without music reference.
Iām actually going to defend Zeos on this one. If he were the only person that were doing this, youād be right. Or if this were a more well defined, ātechnicalā subject, Iād also agree with you. But we have people like DMS, Resolve, Crinacle, etc. to present that objective viewpoint. So Iām personally fine with Zeos and his purely subjective reviews. That means I can go watch two, or more, completely different people, who want completely different things from their headphones/earphones.
I havenāt trusted DMS since he compared the Aria to 500 dollar IEMs. He has a counterfeit measurement set up instead of the real Gras simulators so his graphs arent 100 percent accurate.
Gras isnāt 100% accurate.
Thank you. I think Iāll just stick with my HE6se for planar.
Damn you Zeos!
I have been looking at the aeon 2, noire closed, and the stealth so much over the last few days.
@ResolveReviews So did they end up sending you a different unit? Iām really interested to see your take on these.
Thank you!
Hard pass on the Peacocks, btw.
Thank you so much for setting me straight!
tonality of peacocks donāt look anywhere as good as he6se
