Some days at work make me consider day drinking. But with all this working from home a flask isn’t necessary!!

In the past few weeks I have spent a lot of time mixing various DAC / AMP / Headphone combinations and filtering out the best combination for me personally.

Interestingly, the xCan performed extremely well in these comparisons. :+1:

Combined with the iBasso SR2 headphones, the Sennheiser HD560s and the Blon BL20, and the Fiio FH7 & Moondrop KXXS In-Ear’s, this AMP is even the “End-Game”.

I couldn’t get a better sound out of these headphones with any other combination, I have to mention that (— I —) (may be not everybody) think the respective headphones sound very good :heavy_heart_exclamation:

PS .: Anyone who can hear that the headphones are being played via bluetooth and not via cable will get a chocolate bar from me.

I just started getting into IEM’S. Last I used a pair was when I was a teen and that was before the day’s of the internet let alone high res audio ect so needless to say all iem’s I tried I hated. They sounded sub par and very uncomfortable in my ear’s so I gave up on em. Fast forward to today and I decided to try em again. Boy was I blown away. Definitely still love my over ears better but it’s amazing that some of these can stand almost toe to toe with full size cans now.

My first and only pair at the moment are the Fiio FH3’s and I think there amazing. I definitely wanna buy the FH7’s and hear how different they sound to the FH3. :headphones::musical_note::heart:

Uhhhh, make sure things don’t escalate. :dollar: :yen: :pound: :euro::money_mouth_face:

I love music as well as technology, and I also have a tendency to filter out the cheapest criteria, products and, in this case, combinations that meet my quality requirements.

Since I am very fortunate to have a relatively large amount of access to high-quality hi-fi products and to be able to test them thoroughly, I have amassed a very interesting collection of what I like in terms of sound.

In part, these are compilations that almost all reviewers would not bring together, but sooner or later they “clicked into place” with — me —.

Therefore it is difficult for me to name “THE ENDGAME”.

For example, with the FH7, I would recommend the xCan, which, in my opinion, emphasizes the bass too much in the FH3.

The FH3 is mobile with an EarStudio ES100, but even better with my stationary Questyle CMA400i, melodious.

What I actually want to say;

I’m a bit of a maniac when it comes to things like that.

To orientate yourself towards me in this regard is certainly not a good idea.
(Because time-consuming :hourglass_flowing_sand: and possibly expensive :dollar: :dollar: :dollar: :disappointed_relieved:)

Because perceptions of any kind are subjective, and I, too, occasionally cannot understand one or the other reviewer and their assessment :man_shrugging:.

IIRC the Bluetooth connection on the iCan streams in 16/44.1, and the amp on board can push 1 watt into 32 ohms balanced. Those are a perfectly serviceable capabilities for a desktop DAC amp, and amazing for one the size of a pack of cards.

How does the Elex compare to the GL2000?

They are both way different.
Elex is a detail monster while GL2000 is a soundstage monster.

GL2000 has multiple layers of soundstage and great detail, not as good of detail and bass as Elex but if you mod/EQ GL2000 nothing can touch it for 1500 dollars or less.

I’m a simple man. I see the iBasso SR2. I like.
