I had to get a box just for my stupid remote controls! 8 of them. 
Are those solitaire in the corner? How do you like them? Can’t find much info on them and what I do find seems super mixed reviews tbh

Pretty happy with this, best allrounder ive had. might sell it if the aeon 2 noire is solid. hoping the amp will match okay, its the only amp ive got around

the first thing i noticed coming off of the 789 with ares2 into v280 with ares2 was the gigantius soundstage, so when i saw the 8xx i thought to myself i may as well go all out on soundstage, going to be interesting

I am still trying to figure out what all effects stage. Its so wierd. My iems on my dap are huge as hell. My focal clears on my dap → portable amp → clear are huge as hell. Now put the clears directly on the dap or the iems on the amp? Smol and congestested all around. Realy annoying sources don’t just work the same on all gear if I’m honest
Edit: I hate myself a little. Mistyped “small” and apparently I use “smol” so much thats what it decided to correct to…

It’s funny that you post that. I used to have an english bull terrier. We were inseparable. If anything took my attention away from him, he would destroy it. Many remotes died horrible deaths until I learned to put them on a top shelf.
I have mentioned to my wife many times that if we still had him, he would cost me a FORTUNE today in smart phones.

I know this is a repost (posted in listening spaces), but I like to keep these pics in this thread to have a history.
This is my endgame now. Not that items won’t be updated from time to time. IE. Different solid state amp, different OTL amp, different hybrid amp, etc.
Feeling VERY good about this collection now. Nothing I really Want to move and nothing I really Have to buy.
Pleasantly surprised by the LD MKIII.

I think this counts as endgame. Of course there’s upgrades in the far future, but this is more than endgame material imo and will last me a long time.

Neat setup. The Playstation thing in the middle makes the whole setup look like a spaceship.
