@Resolution how are you liking these?
I needed to break these in for over 24 hours for the vents to open up enough to not create a really bad suction within my inner ear. After they opened up, zero issues.
Within the tribrid spectrum, I was ranking then quite low. Around the DUNU EST 112. Vocals were so far forward they felt quite un-natural and I could hardly hear the bass.
I was told that I needed to apply the filters from the Oxygen…
They completely changed the game for me, so I obviously was experiencing resonance issues within my ears from the short nozzles. Just make sure you have some of those filters ready if you experience the resonance issues I did. These are mid monsters, audiophile ready and more resolving than Clair.
Michael Bruce experienced the same issue…
One standout of this earphone is the soundstage width. It is super wide but not very far out in front of me.

Finding tips for this IEM can be a challenge because of the extremely short/wide nozzle size and resonance issue. Of all my tip rolling that I’ve done thus far, I’m personally preferring the Unique Melody blue heart tips the most.

It is unfortunate that an IEM at this price point requires break-in and additional filters (for some) to function and sound proper, but once it does, it is a force to be reckoned with.
I still prefer another IEM that is very near and dear to my heart, which still has more agreeable tonality, and some technicalities that I personally prefer, but the EJ07m is different enough to carve out it’s own space in my collection and has it’s own unique strengths and arguably even more impressive technicalities such as it’s abnormally wide soundstage. (if I consider the Zen as the slam master and rank it above and beyond at an 11, The EJ07m would rank an 11 for its soundstage width as well. It’s almost too wide and forward for me).
I’m specifically impressed with its midrange tuning. It’s exceptional. I’m excited that it has similar tonality to that of Clairvoyance but with better resolution.

Plus one on that, it is also my TOTL, with all the caveats mentioned by @Resolution. I’ll add that I find its imaging superb, resulting in a spectacular holographic effect, at least to my brain. None of my IEMs comes close.
It appears though, that too many people have “resonances” that need to be fixed with Tanchjim filters. I have a theory that there is in fact a sharp peak around 4.5Khz that usually is not shown in graphs due to smoothing, because it is a narrow peak (confirmed that in REW), but can be observed if no smoothing is applied to the graph. It shows up in my DYI coupler (emphasis on it being a DIY coupler, based on a Dayton Audio iMM-6, hence take this with a grain of salt). Using Tanchjim filters reduces that peak, making it lower than the other ~2.5Khz peak, resulting in a much more palatable signature.

I’ve always had a thing for the OG 07’s even just to look at 
and seeing as no one wanted them it was rude not too…hopefully arriving next week or so…
Oh and managed to pick up one of our friend (XINHS) 4 core graphene 4.4mm 2 pin cables off of UK eBay for £25 with free p&p to go with so doubled down bargain
