I bet on that… I think he doesn’t use headphones as much as IEMs

IEMs are much more Fun… IMO

I enjoy using IEMs more than headphones, own HD599 and HD6xx. Wearing IEMs is lighter and easier to move around, quite a pain to remove it and hear people mentioning and then put it back on lol.

For me the 07 OG tuning was so great I used to sacrifice some sound quality by pair it with ibasso’s CF01 - was great although I have to put it on full volume thou. As M Bruce said, 07 is one of the IEMs really scale well.

At full volume on the CF01, my iPhone is showing avg 95-98dB

EJ07m is the most scalable with sources and volume IEM I own. OG must be even more!

Just here, tripping on Iggy Pop - Lust for life. It really comes alive with these. God damn.

Yea totally - I first came to chifi a year ago after tried out Tape. And came across HBB & M Bruce’s rec and can’t be happier!

It’s so strange I’d very very happy to have paid $800 for the 07 OG and now $500 for 07m is not being adored by more folks just a shame… the driver set (4 EST due to the low sensitivity), the tuning and the build quality

Musically speaking it’s defi one of the best IEMs let along at such “mere” price tag! Still remember I paid £760 for my 846!

Well its a marketing business with tier lists. I understand why some people will buy detail monitors like Monarch or Variations. I’ll grab Mest Mk2 for that. Then I’ll have 07m for immersion and an all ronder fun set

I suggest myself! This makes it easier for me to spend the money I spend. But I really don’t buy so many IEMs because my library is specific. Probably MK2 will be the end of the game for me, which is a bit unfortunate

Yeah. Mest is very good. It wont be the best for every library but it is one of the best for yours.

Im back to debate in my head if I’ll get it or not. I still have a couple weeks to go before I do any decisions, so I’ll take it as time to digest it.

I still advise people to have other sets to pair with Mest tho.

guy I respect as much as I respect Chris.Let see he said to definitely buy O2 over Teas even though the rec’d the Teas. Mike loves the O2 I am sure it’s still in his top 4. It is to bad O2 is not the all a rounder I need with my library

Yes it is but it works that way. Many times the specialist is better than the all a rounder in life. That is why I will not get the O 2.
Well if it was a bit more versatile I could get the KZ for metal and the O 2 for rest of library but if I did that it most likely be Tea and if I bought one the 3 dt it Dusk unless I got EJO7 m
