Hey guys, I’m pretty new to this hobby and I currently own the Teas and love them. Looking for a direct upgrade to the Teas (for more resolution), would that be the OG EJ07 or EJ07M? And after seeing HBB’s collab of the new Kinda Lava EJ07M, I REALLY don’t know which one to pick now… man this hobby is dangerous

OG is closer but 07m is easier to like, in my opinion. Both great options, congratz

Thanks man. I’ve tried other IEMs like Dusk and Oxygen, but the 3D-staging in the Teas are insane for the money. I’ve heard the OG is more 3D and immersive, and the 07M is more resolving, correct? Just wondering how much more resolving they are than the Teas in your opinion.

Both are a clear upgrade, imo.
Both have insane imaging.
EJ OG keeps the darker signature and more subtle tuning that teas also have. It’s basicly meant to be blasted and immerse you. Literally infinite stage. I love it, it’s my fav IEM on par with DM.
07m is the easier rec. Bass and treble more elevated, but still keeping the full 3D, just less wide/depth. I love it’s slam. Some find it’s mid-bass lacking but I love it like it is. My pair is actually gonna be re-shelled and maybe retuned.
Keep in mind that due to short nozzles, most people need to use tanchjim filters on EJ07m or else they get resonance peaks.
Basicly the question is: What would you change on teas?

I love the Tea’s tuning, just wished it was more clear/resolving, but guess I’m waiting for EJ07M Lava review before deciding lol. Thanks for the input man. Also, sounds like OG EJ07 is more up my alley since I have my music blasting at 80% volume for that immersion. Not good for my ears tho lol.
Will they include filters with this one?

Plain black is kinda meh, but if it was something like vantablack that would be super cool.
I have to ask, and I realize that you’re kinda biased given that you helped tune them; Is it worth scooping the Kinda Lava if I already have the EJ07M? The red and extra midbass is too tempting, but I can’t give up my custom EJ07Ms…

If the the EJ07M midbass tuck does not bother you then just keep what you got. It was the main and audible weakness for me.

The midbss at EJ 07m is a preference and a kind of tuning, not a tonal weakness. For all those who are trying to spend EJ 07m with a tonal weakness in the middle bass, I want to say that the graphics show everything and I see no problem. Otherwise, we have to reconfigure all IEMs that do not suit someone’s taste- I suggest we start with Monarch OG 
. I think that EJ 07m has the right amount of midbass / subbass in the ratio 40/60, which for me is absolutely perfect. Enjoy!
