I saw another reviewer who thought the EA1000 was still the slightly better IEM unless you don’t like it’s brightness.
If bringing cost into the equation, then it’s probably a different story.
Anyway it’ll be nice to see some other opinions once it becomes more available.
I like bright IEMs, so I’ll have to wait for more reviews to see if it’s something I’d be interested in.

For some odd reason, I was under the impression that the LM was a heavier Sub bass and Mid bass tuning compared to the OG 500… I just looked at the graphs and that is definitely not the case. Interesting.

It definitely is the case lots more bass all around and better quality.
Also the graph shows more upper mids and highs but again it doesn’t sound that way. With the 500 level nozzel filter it has a very good tuning and we’ll balanced that extra bass really tones down the top end.

Hm, interesting. To me, the relationship between the uppermids and the bass is incredibly important. Without the mesh filter, it does graph with more upper mids by quite a bit. But i’ll take your word for it, brother.
Hold up! I didn’t know there is an another version of the EA500, and I was planning to get the EA1000 at some point. Man this looks cooler than my normal EA500, I wonder if there are any improvements from the EA500, or I don’t know, probably a sidegrade with a different tuning or something? Overall though, Simgot is really cooking good so far, according to the so called youths today, they call it cooking.

Is that the actual tuning for the retail version or a mod you did?
Looks more like the Simgot EM6L.
Dont bother with the EA1000, EA500 is better to me.
EM6L is different enough from the EA500 though, so maybe consider that one.

Cool, didn’t realise this was on the way. Was thinking what to get after EW200 and wasn’t sure if I could stretch to EA1000 or Dunu FU. I enjoy your detailed videos and look forward to hearing how this shapes up against the other top performing single DD’s. More bass is always welcome!
Yeah I already have the EM6L in my arsenal already. I am not sure if I even should consider this since I currently have both the EA500 and the EM6L. Probably wait for reviews before I pull the trigger would be the better option?

I think he’s talking about the one with the mesh filter. Showing the mesh filter graph with the production graph is a bit disingenuous imo cause it makes it seem like a stock tuning instead of a mod
