I’ve been sticking to the juzear 61t but this morning I put my new velvet wide bore tips on the Artti t10 and with some eq in the bass, man those things are still great. They may still be my best bang for the buck iem this year. $45 for them iem and $20 for the tips and I can see that being someone’s endgame on a budget
Measurement rig variance is knocking on your door
I don’t need to look at other graphs, I have a reliable comparison. There is nothing wrong, obviously or not, with timbre and tuning on my SM4.
I spent hours comparing that set, to try and hear what TDM and you are complaining about, it’s simply not happening. In fact I was rocking out thinking I had another set inserted…
Glad you love it happy it makes you happy honestly. Its ok if you hear it one way and others hear it differently.
You don’t really…the EM6L obviously has less low because the extra upper mid (early harmonics) is distracting. More spicy on 6L
I did not express that…
Bingo!
Does using an 80ohm impedance plug helps ?
Got these for 80€ during 11/11. They sounded 8,5/10 UNTIL I used Render Tips with them.
Unreal sound. Easy 10/10 (with render tips)
The SM4 is the IEM that made me take IEMs seriously (I’m a headphone guy).
Hi, I am sorry to bother you, but what other ear tips did you try before you settled on the Render Tips?
My goodness, I’m so late answering. So sorry.

After a year of light to moderate use , The faceplate came loose. It’s not a big deal because it can be glued back on with a drop of super glue; but it was hanging by two very thin wires that connected to one of the drivers. Potentially problematic and something to be aware of
oof the cable attached on the faceplate is likely just as a cable management strategy.
Looks like the DD isnt anything special/premium like from Huayunxin.
Apparently the piezo driver is mounted in the faceplate.
This seems like a way to just add another driver type so they can market it as tribrid or whatever while also having it do pretty much nothing.
The piezo driver may be firing directly through the DD’s rear tuning port, making the DD diaphragm vibrate at very high frequencies which the DD is not very good at doing when the diaphragm is stimulated by its own voice coil.
It doesnt look like it is sealed in its own chamber with the DD but is in the same space as the rest of the drivers so if that is how it works it does not seem like a good idea.
