🔶 Sivga P-II

How is the clamp force compared to the aiva? The headband looks super wide in comparison

Btw, you are definitely 100% correct, the Sendy perforated pads are way more comfortable compared to the Sivga pads. Mine arrived 2 hours ago and I have yet to encounter the discomfort I had with the Sivga stock pads.

My ZMF pads both arrive tomorrow, but the Sendy Perf Pads feel and sound like they will be the likely winner…so thank you for your feedback. :slightly_smiling_face:

It also opens up the sound stage and brings up the bass, it did on the Sendy not sure about the Sivga. But yea def comfort improvement

Ok, so the ZMF pads showed up. The suede oval pads sound good, but it further reduces the mids. Way more soundstage though.

BUT, the ZMF Perforated Suede Universe pads sound excellent. They are very very similar to Aiva Perf Pads, but have more soundstage. Bass is a touch more present. The mids are little more present (more of a mid boost than bass boost if you are comparing the two). The treble is ever so slightly less, but only a touch. The pads are my winner and I am very surprised. The character of the stock headphones is still there, but way less aggressive in your head type of sound. I highly recommend the ZMF Universe Perforated Suede Pads for anybody that is not happy with the stock pads. The comfort level is amazing as well. I’m a very happy camper right now. :metal::grinning::+1:

Yeah, these pads have won the roundup. A great test song for these is Trouble by TV on the Radio. The width of the acoustic guitar chords is noticeable with the pad change, as is the keyboard treble.

Can you please take a photo of the stock pad opening vs the ZMF pad opening? Is the ZMF a 3 or 4 knuckle

For my chubby hands it is a 3 knuckle.

Please share a link for those ZMF pads.

Yes, but the shape is isnt “confuckled” like the Sendy Pads. The foam is different and I was greatly surprised by the similarities. The addition of soundstage, bass and mids was a welcome trade off for me at least. Your mileage may vary of course.

There is a dropdown selection for pad type, so you have to make sure that you select suede - perforated.

Absolutely. I have a few ZMF pads and they have come in handy when pad rolling.
