edit: and since the connectors are so expensive, I’d have to add another $300-$400 or so to get the real cost putting it right in line with normal used prices
I’ve done business with upscale audio, mainly used items and tubes. Not the cheapest but their stuff is quality and they back whatever pre-owned or open box stuff they sell you. Well inspected and guaranteed to work when it leaves their shop.

Technology is a bit different, with the DV being an OTL tube and the TA-20 being a hybrid. Both seem to get good reviews. Considered getting the TA-20 last time it dropped, but ended up picking up a Liquid Platinum. Still considering the Darkvoice, just not sure I can justify it when my most tubeworthy headphone at the moment is probably the 58x.
