Took the risk
I’m prepared to battle it out if it’s a fake or anything like that… I know my rights!
Dude! Yolo right?! good luck, man - WHEN you get em, let us know how you dig the set
Arya Stealth for $999 this weekend. This guy mainly sells modded headphones, but he’s got stock Arya’s up for sale.
When I messaged him, he also said he could also sell any other Hifiman headphones at a discount if you email him. Though I’m assuming he doesn’t keep other models stocked.
I’m trying to save for the new Utopia. Don’t do this to me!
Lol I know the pain. I’m saving up for major computer upgrades
I didn’t realize that he made ear pads as well. I had his r7dx and loved them when I had them.killer price on the headphones though. Wonder how his Earpads are?
SENNHEISER HD 660 S 309$
not the $800 it dropped down to at one point but cheaper than anywhere else as far as I know
well I waited all day and they finally came in and I’m 99% positive I got a defective set… The sound is just… not good and when i push the IEM a little bit while they are in my ears the sound cuts off completely. Im really bummed about this because I doubt I will be able to get another pair and Im not sure I want to at this rate…
Dang… I was so curious to hear your take. Sorry for your disappointment.
yeah its a bummer. I wish I had a 4.4 device because I have a feeling its the cable or something with the connection because if I wiggle it it gets distorted. Either way BB says sold out so I am assuming I will just get a refund. My ears were not meant to hear the IE600
It’s not a detachable cable or you don’t have a spare cable to test?
It comes with a spare 4.4mm cable but I don’t have anything that takes that. All my spare cables are 2 pin
Proprietary ending? I can send you MMCX if it takes it?
Yeah it’s a proprietary connector. It’s mmcx but longer so normal mmcx don’t fit
Yeah, Sennheiser does that foolishness. That’s a fair point
This will be my last comment on the matter since I don’t want to derail this thread but I did some more testing and it’s definitely the IEMs. I have mmcx to 2 pin adapters and used the cable with my other IEMs without issue. Also based on the specs the IE600s should be easier to drive than my Vortexes but my Vortex are much louder at the same volume setting on my Q5K. Also the bass is incredibly weak in the ie600 which doesn’t seem right
Of all the bad luck - can you not send the to Sennheiser to be fixed/replaced under warranty as you bought them new? Shouldn’t matter if BB have them in stock or not.
I would but I still don’t know if I even like them. if I knew I wanted to keep them I would go through warranty but I assume going through warranty will put me outside the 15 day return window.
A brand new replacement set from Sennheiser should be easy to resell, but definitely more hassle than a return.
