costco is not authorized to sell. ie no warranty.
edit: and klipsch is beyond huge about authorized dealers. they funny with warranties when u buy them the right way. will not support at all on non authorized.

Back to the other conversation, yes I agree. A lot of companies are very strict about grey-market items – Denafrips is another company that is adamant and clear about their warranty with grey-market as well.

There was an eBay seller offering DarkVoice amps for $40. I and a couple more folks said “F it!” and bought one.
We all got tiny little envelopes with a costume jewelry ring inside.
