for the Canucks, Costco has the Soundcore Motion X600 SE on sale for $100.00, down from its $250+ regualr price. I bought an X500, and its G-G-GREAT! I wanted the X600 then, but they were unobtanium last Black Friday. saw the sale in my Costco flyer and I ordered one of these immediately and admit I am thinking about a second because they can be paired in stereo.
That’s what I see now too. Could have been a price just for me or only one at that price. It was out of stock when I snagged it…but the price is locked in.
Here’s some of the standouts this week. I scan constantly since I buy audio equipment on the secondary market for a living. In a nutshell, new listings on eBay have gotten scant. Pricing on Amazon hasn’t changed much on new items, but no sales on audio equipment that’s already warehoused in the U.S. I tried ordering two DACs yesterday on Aliexpress that said “ships from U.S.” and both were shipped from Hong Kong to the wrong address and got cancelled. If you use the web browser there, just search and click “ships from U.S.” and you’ll see selection vaporize.
I’ve spoken with tier 1 distributors and other sellers and prices will likely go up when current inventories sell out. I’ll resume posting weekly the good deals I can find. The used market was really surprising with many less listings than last week on eBay. The good that may cheer you up is, if you have something to sell and can sit on it a few months it may be worth much more. As usual check each seller for warranty terms. Hifi-College, Aoshida-US, and SMSL factory store all have 1 year warranties on used items. Any other place do homework on them. Amazon Resale doesn’t warranty anything, but they have the Asurion warranty you can buy up to a year after purchase for the monthly fee (never buy it at checkout, you might not ever use it).
