Looks like its just a shell although including some tuning stuff so a bit better than other diy shells. And it is NOT a 110mm driver.

Yes this is a shell, they have closed and open versions, you add the driver. Id like to get the 70mm version.
I bought the prebuilt closed beryllium and man it jams, like crazy for $180 after a pad and cable upgrade.
There are some items like a hinge nut i need to tighten, but the audio quality is up there. It can be a little hot depending on the track, but it is almost planar like for imaging, speed etc. The best part is the punchy DD bass.

Planning to get a used Hifiman HE400 instead which is cheaper and my driver size is 58mm. Hope it is easy to install.
Is it a planar driver? The he400 wont take a dynamic unless your 3d printing something. Common sizes i see are 40, 50, 53, 60 and 70mm. I do have a 70mm on the cards, but want to finish a 53mm bio cellulose one first.
