I think they’re really good at 50 but you can do better at 80
I preferred the pro82 and cal over these
Loving them! They are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn and the sound signature is lovely and rich. Imaging is great, and the bass is deep and nicely textured. While they might not be a neutral sounding headphone, after listening to them a while I feel like they sound very natural compared to my other headphones. Everything is very smooth if that makes sense. They do leak some sound, but not as much as fully open backs and I’ve been able to use them in an open office at lower volumes and not bother anybody. The cable is annoying, but it’s easy to swap it out since it is a dual 2.5mm input. All in all I think they are a very fun, unique headphone with a premium package. I don’t think I will ever part with them, especially since it looks like they won’t be manufactured again in the foreseeable future.

Hmm. Would you enjoy it though? You weren’t a fan of the dt880 600 right?
M0N told me the other day were an almost HD600l like headphone. 
The closest beyer to the 600 I would say but they aren’t too much alike lol
I bought it. I receive an email saying they canceled my order. They haven refund my money. It must be a pricing error. It’s not the first time beyerdynamic cancel my order because of some pricing error.
That’s a bummer if that’s the case.

The DT880 is a much lesser headphone. this is the top of the line, i dont think it will suffer from the DT880’s shortcomings
i had no idea these headphones were so popular that they have skins. wish they had these for other headphones
Dt 1990 pro went back to 599 on that website now.
