Does anyone have experience with these Sound BlasterX units? Been keeping my eye on the G5, but the one that shows up in reviews is almost always the G6. Is there a significant difference between them? Spec wise I see that the G6 supports higher res playback at 32/384, but looking at even more expensive dacs like the Schiit Bifrost they have the same 24/192 that the G5 does, so does that even matter?
Basically looking for my first dac/amp and wondering if there is a compelling reason to go with the G6 over the G5
It’s dac implementation, virtual surround sound and the amp on the g6 just generally kinda sounds better
