The DEALS thread

I think you should aim to see if you can find a liquid spark or atom for that price if you can find a deal

Maybe we should add that to the survey?

How many headphones do you own?

How many Alligator Leather headphones do you own?

damn literally candian pricing on the m570

Those need a 1000$ nuclear reactor (amp), huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

Not really, they work well with like the 887. But I would say you want 3wpc at 50 ohms or more to get the most out of them

damn i really want one of those hifiman headphones.

The he5 is pretty fun to have around for sure, but I think the better pick would be the ananda if you weren’t only after fun

I tried to buy the Hifiman Anada’s but i couldnt get my Paypal to go through and customer service is closed =\

Kinda suprised that Hifiman only has Paypal as a option to pay. at least that all i saw. And the payment came up with “FeiFei Song” not “Hifiman” weird. Anyone else getting this?

Ive been having some strange problems with my bank account, im worried someone hacked my computer

Headphones.com has them for the same price.

Nah, that’s legit. That’s the same name I saw when I paid Hifiman for an out-of-warranty RMA.

i heard the Ananda was just like the Focal Clears. That true Mon?

I listened to both before going with the Clears. I didn’t think they were that similar. I was also considering the Aryas at the same time, but they were $1600 and the Clears were on sale for $1k at the time

I saw some reviews for the Ananda and they were saying it was worth it for 1000$ some where saying its a steal at 850$ and i just got it for 700$

Anyway i’ve been lusting after these headphones when i saw the egg shape and the large planar drivers

All three were really good headphones. I’ve been considering the Anandas, and even thought about the bluetooth version, but I was going to hold out for the Aryas since they are a little better until I was able to pick up the he6se on sale. I got burned on a lower end model-I can’t remember if it was the 400i but I’m pretty sure it was. It fell apart right after the warranty ended, and I’d seen so many negative reviews from other people having similar experiences. The Ananda and the Clear were both $1k at the time, or maybe the Ananda was $900. I had just bought the Elex and loved them, and the Clears were built exactly the same but did everything just a little better to my ears. I’m having a hard time remembering the difference between the Ananda and the Arya but neither had that traditional planar slam I was used to from Audezes, and I kind of liked them for it. I like using tubes, so I think I am a little biased towards dynamic drivers over planars, so that influenced me also. It’s why I’m dying to get my ZMFs

we have the same taste and the same headphones lol. i would love to have the clears (got the elex) and will be looking for deals on them. I almost got the LCD2c but canceled the purchase when i heard the reviews of it and got nervous. would have loved to get the he6’s but i dont have a amp to power them. I just ordered the ZMF Aeolus cant wait to get it.

I’m not sure I need to keep both the Elex and Clears, but I still use them both. I didn’t love the 2cs, but thought about them for $500. If I get another Audeze, it would probably be the 3 or 4, even though the 3s don’t seem to be as popular. I didn’t like them when I first heard them, but the newer 2018 revision sounded great to me. Also, if I was going to spend $4k I’d probably pick the Utopias over the 4s. I’ve been listening to the XCs on the 789 after not using them for awhile, and I don’t hate them as much as I used to
