Do the Elex and Clears sound the same? also why get audeze? i heard their stuff was a little muffled. i heard the LCD X was ok. the utopia’s and LCD 4’s are way outside my price range lol

The elex almost has a more w shaped sound that can be a bit more fun, the clear is a bit more even responding. The clear also is more resolving and can better recreate space imo.
People tend to say audeze is muffled because their hose sound is kinda dark and can not have that upper treble that people like to make something feel airy
Not really tbh, I can’t really think of a way where they are that similar. That being said, the Ananda is an interesting headphone because of the very large presentation, kinda because of its massive driver.
For the love of me I can’t figure out why someone would sell the Dekoni blue(USED ) for 75$ and that too not with the velour pads. I always wanted one, should I pull the gun ?

You know ive been looking all over the web to find the driver size and i cant seem to find it. I heard it had the largest planar driver around. is that true?
I think it’s 80 x 50mm
that doesnt make sense really, the LCD’s are 106mm
It’s actually 65mm x 50mm for the active area for the LCD series, so the hifiman driver is larger
how would you say the Ananda compares to the Elex? Since its currently my best headphone. im being blown away right now listening to tears for fears songs from the big chair 
I think the elex has better detail and is more accurate, but the Ananda has a really cool presentation and better impact. Stuff kinda just sounds large and layered. At this point it’s more taste rather than one being definitively better than the other
you know i didnt know this. i even posted a thread asking what the largest planar driver was. i nearly bought a LCD2C thinking it was the same size as the Hifimans lol
