So is it a new value beast? Does it beat FH3 price/quality wise?

Welcome to HFGF

The L5 is almost twice the price of the FH3 but value is subjective I guess :man_shrugging:…as for for quality, there have been a few issues with the FH3’s the L5 is a bit to new on the block for any end user QC issues to arise (as far as I know) so we’ll see on that score.

If you - like me - were waiting for a CIEM option on 11/11 :frowning:

funny…the Amazon link takes you to the Legacy 3 and 9…but no 5. LoL!

Zeos “I think we’re all over the Andromedas at this point, right?” “For $250, this could be anyone’s endgame.” “These are the winners.”

Pic of my set…

Apparently the Mangird Tea are even better than this one, just a heads up for those that are going broke every few weeks for the newest endgame-of-the-month

Does it have better imaging?

Not sure, haven’t heard either. I’ve read a few reviews, they’re all raving, including imaging and soundstage (although not for bassheads)
I’m going mainly off of this (and his main Mangird video), mostly because I trust that he’s heard more IEMs than most reviewers out there—even if I don’t agree with him sometimes

Both the Mangird and L5 are fantastic IEMs. The Mangird has a little more sub bass and the L5 has more present treble.

No. I believe both the Mangird and Thieaudio are both Linsoul brands from what I’ve discussed with Dèng from Linsoul. The Mangird and the L5 are very similar sounding IEMs. The L5 is 50 dollars less expensive than the Mangird Tea. The Mangird Tea has a little more sub bass emphasis and the L5 is a little bit brighter. Both have a very similar frequency response.

Not gonna lie, these some chonky bois, bigger than l3 by maybe 20% but doesn’t actually impact comfort negatively. It just sticks out of the ear a tad bit more.

Great sound, tastefully warm. Need more listening time though. It took me a while to find tips I liked too. Didn’t like the spinfits included.

Just wrote my thoughts on these! To be honest, it was a pair that took me a while to fall in love with. But I really do enjoy them and they sound lovely in their own unique way :innocent:

What colour option is that its so beautiful?

It’s red. The angle in the pic doesn’t actually show much red, but it’s because there’s red and purple paint in the faceplate pattern. I’m sure you can’t go wrong either way!

I have the blue and they’re really iridescent. So one camera shot doesnt really do them justice. They look very different in pattern and in color depending on the angle and light. But they look best in direct light, otherwise it’s very subtle, and they look more black than anything.
