Im using mine with Sybio hybrid tips.
Ive tried several Spinfits and i have some ePro horn tips on order but so far the Symbioās are king by some margin.
Finally getting some hours on my Monarch MKII. Using a cable by Plussound that I ordered specifically for the MKIIā¦awesome build quality as always. Also trying Spiral Dot++ tips againā¦didnāt like them all that much the first time I tried them a few days ago, but today, they are working well.
Not anymore they aināt. ePro Horn tips are fabulous.
Really comfortable fit and seal and sound fantastic.
Ordered 6 more pairs.
Well worth a try.
@DaveB Best place to snag some of these? My monarchs are coming in ā¦. Eventually from linsoul and I want to be ready, guns blazing once they hit my door step. Thanks!
i got mine on ebay but think they come from Penon Audio
Finally after 4 weeks, Iāve received the confirmation that my set has shipped, Iām so hyped. Still have to wait another 10 days, but at least I know theyāre on their way! Canāt wait.
Dave! I have to ask, the Tips you recād for the monarchās, the ones mentioned above, are there different nozzle sizes for them? I found them on Amazon but the nozzle diameter reads 3.7 mm which sounds way too small to fit the monarchās. Can you confirm? Thanks in advance!
3.7 will fit.
Edit. Iām using them on my Mest MkII which has the largest nozzle Iāve ever owned.
Thanks for confirming, brother. Hard to imagine the nozzle being any larger than the Monarchās. These definitely have the largest opening Iāve ever seen.
Anyways ⦠thanks again!
They are very unique tips. Iād order the S/M/L.
Oof I went ahead and got the Mediums. Iām usually a large but the Monarchās work well with mediums for me. Are these tips super stiff?
Thanks for the confirmation, bud. They should be here tomorrow!
The tips are so soft and flimsy, youāll think there is no way they will work. They donāt require deep insertion. The inner āhornā is made or coated with graphene (per the company description). When you see them and feel them they make you think of this:
But somehow they work.
I actually canāt wait because Iām having difficulty finding the proper fit and seal at the moment. It seems like I have a ton of tips that Iāve tried but just none have done the job for me, even the stock tips just donāt do it. The Xelestacs are fine but they seem to close the stage a bit too much. Iām hoping these are the ones.
Hello, what size of the epros are you using with MK2? I like using them but the mediums tend to fall off easily or get stuck in my ear lol. This is probably due to there not being anything within the tip for the iem nozzle to latch onto to keep it in place. The smalls work as well but I have to shove them in more. The largeest ones just completely kill the bass response, but I was kinda expecting that.
I use the mediums.
You need to make double sure they are onā¦itās a bit of a wrestling match and I had one ping off as I hadnāt properly checked.
Check all the way round the nozzle to make sure theyāre full seated.
I used the Mediums as well. The first time I had them on my timeless, they were properly on the nozzle and the left side slipped off and stayed in my ear canal. Needless to say ⦠I had a mini heart attack because it was in there. Luckily, I had some tweezers for replacing filters and my wife to the rescue lol but yes, if you have a pair of plastic tweezers, I found that stretching from the inside out over the nozzle helps tons.
Iāll try to make sure of that, thank you. Another interesting thing that happens sometimes when I remove the iem from my ear is that the eartip gets flipped
inside out haha.
Just gave it a bit of a check and the eartip still seems to slide off easily with a small tug. My medium tips mightāve been stretched out too much. I wonder if thereās another way to secure them on.
