Just joking, maybe you are right, but we had a plasma TV, it looked very natural, but I donāt think that they hold against the new TVās, much bigger, higher resolution, and better color calibration and contrast.
The only thing that I canāt stand is that motion smoothness that makes all feel so fakeā¦ I have to deactivate that, and when I am at a friendās house with that feature on, it triggers me so much, hehe

So great, the Ups. I occasionally wonder if itās just the tribrid nature of them that I respond to so muchāI do love the clear and detailed but never harsh EST trebles and the slamming but very clean bery bass, and the mids have beautiful timbre and resolution, so maybe I just like tris?
But then I look at the tuning curves for some of the other tribrids and Iām like, I have never once thought that I wanted less mid bass or low mids while listening to the Ups, the tuning strikes me as lifelike and natural, and a lot of the low-bass gear popular in the audiophile community sound weird and artificial and emaciated to me.
Iāve thought about getting the Monarchs or Variations or Oracles or something just to check how I respond to other tris, but I think itāll just be spending hundreds of $$ proving to myself that I actually just like what I already have, just like Thatoneguy335. Maybe next year.

This post mirrors my experience with MKII a lot. I have Monarch OG which are (I realized again after trying mkII) my endgame. OG sounds soooo much better and not just tuning. Soundstage, imaging, instrument separation all better. Resolution and clarity are on the different level. (Sub) Bass is insane, mid bass i admit i boosted it by 2db in Neutronā¦ Perfection. High mids so lush clear, forward but not too much. Some vocals bring tears to my eyes. Treble again so clear, detailed and smooth like silk, without any harshness or sibilance again perfection. M11 plus, balanced connection and high gain givess them all the power they needā¦
MKII on the other hand was a disappointment as they do not share anything what makes OG so great to my ears. With the price increase and the comments which are floating around I expected so much more.
Then fit again OG is big but they fit perfectly just like CIEM no need to adjust the fit on the move ever. While with every head movement MKII breaks the seal. Cable even though very nice has stiff earhooks which contribute to unhooking and seal problems.
Yes, very beautiful, but they do not justify its price. I would like very much to try another set just to check did I get one-off bad set, maybe Iāll get another in a few months time just out of curiosity.

Does anyone have any recommendations for replacement tips? I think the stock silicone are pretty good, but these deserve the best.
Im using mine with Sybio hybrid tips.
Ive tried several Spinfits and i have some ePro horn tips on order but so far the Symbioās are king by some margin.
Finally getting some hours on my Monarch MKII. Using a cable by Plussound that I ordered specifically for the MKIIā¦awesome build quality as always. Also trying Spiral Dot++ tips againā¦didnāt like them all that much the first time I tried them a few days ago, but today, they are working well. 
Not anymore they aināt. ePro Horn tips are fabulous.
Really comfortable fit and seal and sound fantastic.
Ordered 6 more pairs.

Finally after 4 weeks, Iāve received the confirmation that my set has shipped, Iām so hyped. Still have to wait another 10 days, but at least I know theyāre on their way! Canāt wait.
Dave! I have to ask, the Tips you recād for the monarchās, the ones mentioned above, are there different nozzle sizes for them? I found them on Amazon but the nozzle diameter reads 3.7 mm which sounds way too small to fit the monarchās. Can you confirm? Thanks in advance!

Edit. Iām using them on my Mest MkII which has the largest nozzle Iāve ever owned.

Oof I went ahead and got the Mediums. Iām usually a large but the Monarchās work well with mediums for me. Are these tips super stiff?
