đŸ”¶ Tin P1 - Planar IEM

What amp were you using with them?

Fiio M11 High gain!

Balanced output? I’m not suggesting to keep them or anything btw, just curious

Yeah Balanced Output

Yeah, you should be fine on power then, well it seems like they weren’t for you

You need to sort your tips out they make even more difference to the P1’s than any other iem imo.

I used the foams and the silicones that came with and some comply tips and Campfire Audio tips.

That reminded me I had a question out to the Tin HiFi AliExpress store because I only received 1 out of the 2 T2 tips I ordered.

There were some coupon codes out for the P1. $138 shipped for a P1.:package: :airplane:

Hummm that’s a shame I love my P1’s, they’re a bit like a track day motorbike to me
they take a bit of getting used to after road riding
everything is coming at ya that much quicker, suspension is stiffer (read sound responses are quicker) tyre pressure’s lower ( the sound takes a while to give you what it can) but after that it all falls sonically into place for the genres I mostly listen too
hope this makes sense lol :+1:

Yeah that makes sense. My question is why force it when I can get on a motorcycle cruiser and enjoy that.

They’re not for me either. I finally got to try them on the 789 yesterday, and while it did open them up a bit, it didn’t change them so much for me that my opinion changed. But I’m really picky with iems. I wish I could be as picky with headphones

You don’t do track days do you? lol
yeah all day cruisers are cool Harley’s and adventure bikes etc :+1: but I miss the detail and response (read handling bike wise) when it come to my iem’s
what amp/dac are you using?

Personally a 789 wouldn’t be my choice to run them with, something like an ifi would be a better choice imho
but I quite understand why people don’t like the P1
as we say in the UK it’s a bit like marmite
love or hate lol.

I also ran them off the Chord Mojo and THX portable. And I tried using an iematch with both of those to see if that did anything.

I had said what I am using above lol

Sorry my bad buddy loads of replies :grimacing: which is great feed back wise
at least here we can leave our own personal views/feed back without people going off on one which is a refreshing change from a lot of audiophile sites :+1:
