Tin Hifi P1 (very hard to drive)
Intime Sora 2 (Easy to drive)

i just found out Drop has Planamic iem right now for 75 dollars (its like planar dynamic hybrid driver)
Zeos actually reviewed them a long time ago and said they were āfineā, but then they were 150usdā¦

The best tuned exotic iem I have that is under 150 usd, is the Intime sora 2. msrp is probably around 60 usd, but import fees put it at around 100 usd for me, totally worth it though.
Few and mostly bad when that comes to iemās unless

I cant carry around a fkin powerhouse just to play music
then cross it from your list. If you need an efficient iem, the Intime Sora 2 is perfect. Actually made for people with a low budget and on smartphones.

HI guys, Iām powering my P1s with either E1DA PowerDac V2 (sometimes with PEQ, that is really nice for these IEMs) and now with A&K XB10. This last one is a GREAT match to P1, as it has a kidda warm(ish) sound profile, it really brings up bass/subs.
Itās a very musical match, really worth it.
I had money left on my amazon account and decided to try the P1. Have since for 2 days now and had a bit of listening with them. I think they actually fit pretty ok now with dekoni foam tips. they donĀ“t fall out like the tapes i had.
Im not experienced with iemĀ“s, only had the Shuoer Tape and Fiio FH5. Liked both but sold both because they didnt get enough time in my ears. The P1Ā“s might change that. Still not sure on the in ear thing compared to over ear. But its refreshing to have something that sounds really super nice that isnt big and heavy. Since i complain about headphone comfort all the time, they might get a good use. Im not so familiar with the feeling of foam tips in my ears, but i will eventually get there, i guess. Music sounds awesome, i think acoustic stuff sounds really awesome. The bass is ok( quantity) i guess, its there, its enough, but wouldnt mind a little bit more. Can add that, so no problem here.
I tried them in Escape from Tarkov and imaging was waaaay better than i expected. Pretty sick for gaming i would say. The only thing i dont like so much that i hear my voice a bit muffled compared to open backs when im talking with my mates.
The one thing that gets me is that i dont feel the need to grab my Clears or T1 when listening to them. They definetly rival a big expensive headphone. Different presentation tho, but the music doesnĀ“t feel so much in my head as i would expect from something that is stuck in my ear.
I need more listening time, but the more i listen to it, the more i want to listen more to it

So early impressions are really good here.

I wonder if the Tempotec sonata IDSD PLUS can drive the P1 correctly in balanced mod?
Rule of thumb is AT LEAST 300mw, so if it doesnāt have more than that it might struggle a bit.
Probably not as it only has 150mw with the balanced outputā¦

Yeah agreed. Theyāll sound very thin or anemic if that helps. Please power appropriately or get something else instead to avoid disappointment!

Iāve been so disappointed in the P1 for over a year. It was relegated to the shelf until my XD-05+ showed up today. I finally have something that can power these things.

I now actually have the Asgard 3 and it is also great for the P1. Planars love power, especially the P1.
