Tin T2 - Unnoffical Thread - Thoughts and Impressions

Hello, with large silicon tips (then not too deep inside ears), silver niheck cable, and a tempotech sonata HD pro connected to my S8, they don’t lack in bass anymore (imo). Tonality is a bit warmer and highs sounds better (especially cymblas).
This cheap USB dac improves everything.

Nobody noticed a new version of the T2 ?

the t2 plus or is there another version your talking about?

I think they just did a refresh with a new cable and some quality control improvements.

I think the Tin T2 plus is like this, the T2s are like your little sister that is caring and sweet to you as her older brother, while the T2 Plus are like your little sister who is a rowdy, punkish and gremlin little sister who does not have a problem talking shit to you but deep within loves you so much as her older brother. I know kind of a weird analogy here but I guess that is how I see it after Zeos’ review of the T2 Plus.

The T2 Classic

I don’t think It Is only the cable, i had the original version that was a lot more fatiguing and bright. This new version has polite treble and It isn’t fatiguing for me.

You might have had the T2 PRO originaly. The normal T2 has much less treble than the PRO and us the one most people love.

nope, i had the classic T2 bought on amazon, after i refunded them i bought the t2 on aliexpress. I still have the pics .

Then I would say it’s just chi-fi quality control at work. Either the first one was in fact a Pro but mislabeled or it was just a bad apple. Either way you now have a set that you like.

Hey, got T2 (silver cable from Nicehk), T4 (T3cable), Starfield, Blon BL03 are on way.
It is so difficult to say which is better, who cares anyway,… and i think that certainly none! They are all very good, dependind what you are listening.
Got S8 + Tempotec HD Pro dac (+male to female adaptator for full power), USB Power USB Pro app, and only medium or large silicon tips.
T2 and Starfield are the more relaxing, got the largest soundstage.
T4 are the best all rounder, a bit too bright sometimes, on bright records, but realy engaging.
Starfield are the more confortable for me and a bit boring exept on brighter songs records (ex: Noir Désir, Deftones, …) where they might be best. I might not be a harman curve addict.
T2 often lacks sub bass, but when listening Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkings they are the best! T2 shows that they can have superb, tight, deep, bass and sub-bass, details, accuracy, sound, are incredible! They completly blow away the Starfield (i have boosted from 1k to 8K with EQ).
Really, it take time to discover what all these iems can do.
Keep in mind that, even if they got low impedance, the more power you will give them, the better they will sound! I It is particulary noticeable with the T2 (great pairing with the Sonata).
Edit: T2, and even more Starfield, better with Spinfit CP145, i still have to learn…

I went to go purchase these on amazon and saw that zeos has a message the reviews saying the t2 there are not what he reviewed. He mentioned changes in sound. That scared me away. Any insight into what he meant? Is there any info on where to get what he reviewed or are they out of production now.

That is his T3 review. Linsoul seem to have consolidated the T2, T2 PRO, and T3 onto one page. I guess only his mist recent review remains.
