Mine arrived. I’ll admit I bought it from the 11.11 hype.
I received 2 $20 coupons that both worked. So in flawed math.
$79-$20-$20 = $39 for Tin T4’s.
(I got 2 4.4mm balanced cables and a 4.4mm to 3.5 adapter with the $40.)
would love to know what you think once you give it a good listen
whoaaaa nice price! hope they have more specials in the future lol
The T3 cable and a few others like this one I think are rather nice because the 8 core weave is quite flexible and neat while looking good. Personally I like this 16 core TRN cable better because it’s basically the same thing but a bit rounder and more pliable.
I do quite like the P1 stock cable since it is super thin, light, and flexible. Once you let it breath over night all the kinks are pretty much gone and I love the look of raw copper.
HAHAHA, I was wondering if I was the only one who did something similar (I didn’t say anything in case I could keep using it). I used the TINHIFIT4S three different times on a KZ bluetooth cable, a Tripowin 2-pin balanced, and a TRN BA5. However, the price of the BA5 after the coupon is the same as all the others on AE and I kinda wished I used it on a TRN V90 instead. I also received a 2nd coupon code, but was waiting to use it after I exhausted the TINHIFIT4S code. Eventually they caught on and both codes weren’t registering after a few days.
So I just got mine in, and I really like them although right now the sound isn’t doing it for me with the current tips. Also didn’t receive the t2 tips as promised. Also didn’t receive my free iem either. I don’t think I would say they are worth over 100 at the time of writing, but I do have to get used to them
Got my T4’s this morning and I’ve had these in my ears for about 2 hours total and I’m still partial to the Blon’s. T4’s are a bit tinny and shouty at moments. Maybe I just need more time with these.
Maybe but they can stay shouty. You get used to it but male rappers or singers sou d great but the female vocals can get a bit shouty sometimes especially if they do runs or actually shouting
oooooooh first impressions form mon! quite interested to see how they progress
some music pairings I found to be really good with these
So far I think the fit and finish is very good, but with the red silicone I don’t think it sounds very good. Dekoni foams don’t seem to work well either. The stock whites are pretty good for me, but I also plan on trying some planet i foams and spiral dots. I am still liking the t2 a bit more right now, but once I get time with them it will most likely change. I don’t think I will try balanced right now, but I will later. I do notice that more harsh shout, and also think the timbre is slightly off as well. I think some burn in by listening to them a ton will help
Welcome to the club,I liked the sound of the t4 with the white/red tips then opted for some bee foam tips ,running them on 4.4 balanced cable. They aren’t horrible sounding iem but at the price point and all other options out in the market they are out of place.Nice iems if you want to spend money on over priced iems.
interesting, for now at least harsher than the t2s? very interesting to see if burn in changes them for the better
Yeah curious to see if they change or not. Also curious to see how they change with different amps or sources. Also will try them balanced on a tube to see what happens lol
But at the moment sound wise, I actually have a more positive opinion of the guideray gri than the t4. Also a bit salty about the free iem that’s not in there
Yeah, I think I just need some more time with them. Currently burning them in and they’ll be my commuting in-ears on the bus next week.
I recently bought a used pair of HD 580’s (Precision) that I want to put back on my ears, so I don’t think I’m in the right head space for IEMs at the current moment.
So far my favorite tips are the jvc spiral dots, the stock white foams, ikko planet i foams, and some smoked grey tips from the ibasso it03. The spiral dots are balanced and are somewhat wide with a sound that may be a bit more clear. The planet i also offer this balance but foam and also provide a smoother sound overall which is nice. The stock white foams are very wide sounding, but personally kind of mess with timbre and sound a bit strange. The smoked grey ibasso tips provide the best bass response but at the same time are a bit more intimate than I would want on this iem. They have grown on me a bit as a whole, but I still question if this would entirely replace my t2. Also the mmcx seem to be a bit loose tbh
I use the stock white smalls for myself. Ive tried several foamies and they dont soundbad but the stem is so fat that it hurrts my ears. I do have a pair of t2’s on the way so I can directly compare them rather than off my memory. and yeah. I thought I was the only one with the loose mmcx they spin really easily on anything aside from the stock cable and even then it still spins slightly
My concern is the wobble as you can easily tilt them left and right.
Also I am using the white foams and I think these are the best for me at the moment, as the while the spiral dots are nice they don’t really have the soundstage anymore, and while I like the i planets, for some reason they make my ear hurt from pressure with the way the t2 sits in my ear
I’m going to wait a week to give a more complete opinion of what I think of them. So someone remind me to do that if you want my opinion
in my ever ending obsession with the mh 755 and their tips I I managed to put them on and it was a bit oiof a mistake it did make them a bit bassier but it also made them shoutier Im guessing due to the size of the hole being smaller.
