YES, do a tip roll. For me the Final E is the best, CP145 doesnât maintain that much detail for me but itâs pretty close to the Final E. Then again, everyoneâs hearing and ear canals are built different so always good to try when can

Yes that is why you have to roll tips. I find the cp 145 superior to final e but all ours ears are different. I have had final e on and felt it was congested and to dark. That is just my findings. The fact in all fairness I never end up using finals. They are always a bridesmaid never the bride.

I am usually the same way, I tend to end up comparing the CP100 vs Final E and the Es go back in the box.
The Spiral Dots always finish last. The only IEMs that I have run those on for any length of time was the Moondrop SSP, but they were a bit bass heavy, so it helped balance them.

Iâve just ordered the CP100 so I canât compare. Would need to wait a little more, but you can also refer to @Resolution and @nymz for that
I prefer CP100 for it due to the fit. Sound is close. Itâs also the tips HBB used to tune it.

I get more comfort from the 145 . The 100 is just not as comfortable for me. They both sound good on Mele.

i thought CP 100 and 145 differ because of the bore fitting size?

Yes, and the outer diameter is slightly bigger on 145

100 M size is the sweet spot for me, I ordered 145 M size and it caused infection for me.
Yeah, itâs all about ears. Both will do good and both will fit
